Forbes.com (Domain Authority 97 / Page Rank 8, obviously it's not a spammy penalized site) accepts guest posts. So you're going to sit there and tell me that if I pitch my topic idea to the editor of forbes and they confirm that my content is in alignment and meets their quality guidelines. And they publish my article in in a relevant and appropriate spot on their site, this will penalize my site? Seriously?
Not only will you receive ton's of link juice but you'll also get hordes of referral traffic to your site from such a post. Think of all the PPC budget you would save with just a single guest post on a high authority site. I typically charge my clients $300 - $1000 for a guest post on a site like forbes and they are always happy with the results.
