He wrote all that to complain about his welfare "benefits" not covering his lifestyle. So get back to making money to pay him what he "deserves".

Our generation will be getting fykd by the inconsiderate, short sighted bastards that run the world now
That said, that was a well illustrated 1

article

@jazz c, what are you talking about lol? this is a true article about how time magazine and other outlets should stop slandering the youth of the world.

I feel that he is being sarcastic through the whole article.
But if he's not, that is a fine example of a how to whine about circumstances when on the inside, its just that you can't get your shit together.

Yes the sarcasm is there to show how dumb it is to buy into the notion. And the creator of this article is not broke lol. i do agree that the job market is down the shitter which makes kids more reluctant to grow up.

Didn't read the article but, this is what the previous gen people think about us, and we will think the same about the next gen
So nothing new...

I agree that slandering the youth is utterly stupid. Nevertheless, his whole point was "you old people fucked up, now pay me my entitled benefits".

NUTSHELL: Everyone's suddenly convinced they're entitled to everything. They couldn't be more wrong.

The guy who made this is in his like mid 40s.. hes speaking on behalf of the youth

I know he's not broke. I'm talking about the kid who think that way.
They can't do something and then blame it on circumstances. To me, that's a cowardly thing to do.

Also, before somebody says "you have no idea" let me tell you that I'm also young (turning 20 in 2 days) and I've seen my fair share of shitty days (being broke and being on the bed for 6 months) so yeah, I do have a pretty clear idea of what it feels like. If someone falls down and doesn't pick his/her ass up and get back on track, its their fault. Not the society's, not their ancestors'.

One thing I can say is I am fed up with entitlement bullshit people just expecting others to wipe their ass
for them and when you don't you are a heartless bastard or something. The world is one big slice of pie and
not one single person is going to give you shit you have to take it.

I am a 20 yo college student paying my way through school, To this date I have ZERO student loans because I work a full time job to pay for my tuition complete and full. And I will tell you the author of this is a complete douche bag.

In life there are people who had a bad childhood and those who think they had a bad childhood. This guy is the latter. He is one of those people who bitches all day that he cant get a job when in fact there are tons of jobs out there. But, not the jobs up to this "standards". The day hell freezes over is the day he does anything that involves physical strain or exertion. Funny thing is he complains about tuition costs and student loans when in fact student loans created the high prices by creating a "bubble". However that is in inconvenient truth and he would rather that stay the same so he can something to grip over. Because people like this like complaining more than doing. Would lower costs be good? Yes, they would; but that would be one less "card" for this child to pull in arguments.

This forum is made up of people who wont let life get the most of them. These are the people who take life by the horns and hump it into submission. I like to think of ourselves as the "haves". The guy who wrote this is a "have not". He'd rather complain about his problem than face them head on.

I totally agree and all of the members here are living proof that determination leads to success.

To add even if you did have a bad childhood that is not an excuse for life because once you
are an adult individual accountability should be your main focus. If you keep letting those people
affect you then they always win.

In a bit of self-incrimination, I didn't actually read the article, but as long as we don't create something worse than WW2, I don't think anyone can say much about us young people.

I would say that the younger generation is screwed unless someone figures out how to overcome the robots that are now doing so many of what used to be the middle class jobs. We know what technology did to John Henry.
