How to get visitors to site

Hey,

I have a website on which I'm doing really hard, it has fresh (viral) content every day and it's iteresting in my opinion. I also have another language version of this page (my native language) and it's doing pretty well, but I can't get global users on webpage in English. Do you have some ideas how to make a website a little more visited?

Yes, make sure you have social accounts set up with Twitter, facebook and G+. You need to get other people to share your content. Also use Reditt and Tumblr.

Are any of your pages ranking in the search engines? As you add more content you should start to pick up long tail keywords!

Fresh : Newly made or obtained
Viral : Becoming very popular by circulating quickly from person to person, especially through the Internet.

Guys, thank you so much for your answers and ideas! Facebook is set up but it's a problem to start getting fans. Everything is ranking good in search engines, but I get <20 visitors from search engines daily.

MosesW, by "fresh (viral)" I meant fresh content that have a potential to go viral.

I will try to invest some money into advertising, but looks like social media is a way to go.

Yes I agree sharing your content to social media sites will help. In addition to that, you can also try to blog/write good content to other related, high page rank, popular sites. From here you can get good, direct traffic as well. Of course, do not forget to do your off page SEO campaign.

Content is king. Post quality and fresh content on press release sites, article sites and blog. In my view, post content once a week and promote it social media sites. You can also try classified sites and social bookmarking sites.

Only problem is that I don't have much content on page. Website is about embedding popular fresh videos with custom description and titles. It's just "directory" of popular videos.
