Does anyone recommend sharing your website/blog post on relevant, high PR Facebook pages? Many of these pages allow anyone to post to their wall. Are these no-follow links, and if so is it still worth getting them?

Conecting with people on facebook in not bad idea but if you share your posts or blogs make sure you have quality content beacause there is so much saturation people only go for quality.

Social links are definitely worth your time and efforts.

Perhaps not in the "link juice" kind of way, but there have been some indications the Google and other search engines look at "social signals" like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Also, according to the results of some studies some socially popular websites do show a better performance in SERP.

That said, using social media for promoting your content, developing your community and engaging with people, etc. is a great marketing practice in general.

Clearing up some things about Social Links :

Social links from FB, others are highly white hat although no follow. They won't pass serious juice but since Google is going tralala over scoail shite these days, they will allow you to "launder" your other shitty links that way.

Your site is pretty cleverly designed. That 1st link in the sig, largest bl db deliberately leads to ur 404 page tat's pretty slick and even gets u social shares. Pretty clever.
