Copying other people's tweets.

Well, I have noticed an account (related to my niche) that has been copying/stealing my original tweets and I was wondering what the possible consequences - or if any for the account holder? I honestly don't mind the owners action because it's a relatively small account compared to mine. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Are they also copying your affiliate links?

I've done some searches on this issue, and I'm unable to find anything where Twitter would take your side on this issue.
In fact, taken straight from the Twitter ToS:

It's sad, I know.

lol this is so common on twitter... all you can do is put disclaimers on the pictures and get free advertisement.. that's really it.

Well if it wasnt something you minded you wouldnt be asking how to get it to stop. Lol if it is image tweets, I would watermark them with your twitter username. And on text tweets, I would reply to the tweet with a link to your original tweet. Eventually they will get tired of it and stop. Maybe. Shot in the dark actually. But better than nothing and lets them know you are on to them.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! and yeah, it's something that i don't mind simply because the account has been around for several weeks with less than 50 followers and haha, watermarking my photos has been something that I've been doing as well and as for the last tip +1

Stealing tweets is a common issue and, alas, little can be done about that.

You may try the website: http://who.stolemytweet.com/ It lets you check who stole your tweets.
Or you may tweak your privacy settings, so no one besides your followers could see your tweets.
