I don't understand this retarded fascination with these "currencies" that have NO actual value. Leave the dreams of "striking it rich on currencies" and provide something of VALUE to others. You'll make a lot of money that way if you do it right.

How can so many pro bitcoin people be so against Doge coin? Look at where Bitcoin was a year ago and the year before that. Plenty of people said you are crazy crypto currencies will not be worth anything. Now look at it. It is naive to say Doge coin will not be worth anything so early in the game. It may very well might turn out to be worthless but we will see. We can all guess and half of us will be right and the other half will be wrong. I wish I had a crystal ball and could answer all of these things. All I can say is do not trade with money you can not afford to lose because it is all a gamble. Including Bitcoin it could tank the next day and you end up with pennies on the dollar. Good luck to all.

It's not backed by anything. The media purports this nonsense because it's good for business. This is no different from the bullshit that goes on on wall street. Yeah, you can make money NOW - but the masses will eventually get in at the last minute, where it peaks, and then it's gonna crash. The top 1% with insider knowledge will profit big, everyone else loses. It's honestly a rigged game.

how are you doing after the 400$ bit drop thanks to the peoples republic (lol)

i have not done the math on everything yet, not sure whether just to get out now while i still can or invest heavily @ the $400 bitcoin price

i went ahead after taking advice from all of you guys on the thread and Patel - and invested in some various smaller coins as well - doge included nothin big, so far i have managed to acquire a little over 13m doge - but after this week they could be worth f_all

Dogecoin might seem like a joke but their community efforts have been much more successful than bitcoin. They have raised more money and even sponsored a team on Nascar.
