A friend of mine is trying to sell me a Breitling, supposedly the one that came with the 2008 Bentley GT coupe. Basically I want to know if its real.

Looks fake, but your pictures are shitty quality. Post a good clear close up of the tourbillon (the hole on the mid down).

Perhaps you should try a watch shop instead of an IM forum.

I don't know anything about watches tbh. This was the first place I thought of since I know people on here may or may not deal with these kind of products.

You can find watch like this on Taobao or PaiPai. It's not even a good replica your "FRIEND" is trying to sell for you.

I'll admit it wasn't a "friend" of mine. A guy in a local buy/sell fb group

Does your friend have any bridges for sale?

With these watches some of the fakes are so good a professional would need to open them and see the movement.

You could put it on a scale - a genunine watch weight is normally 150 - 200 g. You can find the excact weight for that model on the official website.

Good replicas weight properly.

nope, but I think he has a beach house in Idaho

If the replica is good enough you are not going to be able to tell even listening to the movement.
You can look the serial numbers up online and see how that goes. Just saying it is possible to reproduce a watch
to perfection.

Does it have a certificate ? Check the serial number, go on the breitling webiste and check! My guess it a fake, you don't sell a breitling on a facebook group...unless well it s a fake
