These day i made some investigations and i found that some users use a new technique to boost their videos to page 1.

I found many usernames on youtube that use different types of monetization (so there are more who use this) and what are they doing is to upload many videos into one account (60-300 videos) and many of those videos appear on first page.

When i opened the video it has No views, no likes, no nothing and more then that their videos come to first page on the first hour after upload. How is this possible ?

Does anyone know something about this ? it may be something related to quantity ? upload many videos and maybe some will get to first page ? or is there a new method ?

theyre stealing rankings from original videos. copying and pasting everything. its weird but i have
had a couple people do this to me as well.

I think it has to do something with channel "status" or something, when there's 300 videos of some niche, it is possible that youtube is triggered to show their videos on top. But don't think that this method earns much, since like you said videos get very few views and those channels are getting banned almost immediately.

I found one of those videos for a very good keyword that has a lot of competition, it was nr 3 on first page and it was uploaded 2 hours ago.
When i opened it had no views, but i can't imagine how a video being on first page for a very good keyword can have no views after 5-10 minutes on first page.

yes I think mass uploading working now anybody tried this method?

Usually it takes time for the views to be updated. YouTube gives a little boost for the new videos in terms of rankings. I do not really think theres something new, I may be wrong.

May also have to do with the fact that currently is hard to boost videos views so for niche where tons of videos get banned daily, the YT algo has to resort to new videos with no views at all.

Some dic* flagged all of my vids, stole the vid title, video, info and uploaded them as his videos. He is now ranking on page 1 and all of my vids are gone.

You are right. That's a new method and I hope that dic* will burn in hell :-)

Ranking videos on YouTube is affected by a combination of several factors including:
1. Video Popularity (number of views per hour)
2. Audience retention (time watched, average view duration)
3. Channel Authority (channel age, no. of videos, subscriber count, total channel views, average channel retention, partnership status, good standing)
4. User Engagement (likes, comments, social shares, favorites added, subscriptions driven)

**NOTE: NEW videos uploaded from channels with good channel authority or through the unlisted method may be instantly ranked on page 1. However, this effect is only temporary because without views to boost the video popularity, the video will be quickly knocked out of the first page. **

That sucks man, really hope that you can solve it.

I can testify that there's some deep shit going on with Youtube. And it's got nothing to do with new videos (or at least, they don't need to be new to rank).

Damn. Sorry to hear that man.

About the method. I have noticed this as well while recently doing keyword research but hadn't put much thought into it until all of you said you noticed the same thing.

I think you might be on to something with the channel authority being affected by the number of videos it has. I saw some accounts that have LOTS of "legit" videos uploaded with no links and the last video uploaded was hack, crack etc. It was ranked 1-2 spot...
