Sure hope you are wrong. It's been a major source of income for me for well over a decade now, and it pays my bills every month and then some. Those who put up a site, sit back, and wait will always fail at it. Placing a few backlinks from a cheap service is no different than sitting back and waiting, by the way. You have to work at it and reinvest the majority of what you make in the beginning before you will ever see results if you do not have other sources of income. I am curious, how much of that $1.50 was immediately reinvested? How much did you invest in promoting your site every month for at least 6 months so it would grow? Unless you were prepared to spend $300-$400 promoting your site the very first month you have to consistently promote it for several months before you will begin to see results.

a website is a website, your average user wont know the difference between a weebly site or a godaddy/etc site

Seriously dumbest quote ever.

Any typed of shared hosting is pretty much garbage and will be difficult to rank when you share an IP with a few hundred other sites.
Not to mention how slow your site is compared to a dedicated server.

I have done everything imaginable, from review sites to online reputation management, and even some black hat ceo.Too many people are in the game now, so there is hardly any profit to be made. Since there is a federal limit to the amount you can earn in the US, there is no point. I made a site on the new ps4, added original materialt, and attempted to appear on the serps. My rankings were destroyed by wikipedia and sony. I also bought some Blackhat CEO services, even though it ended up being a waste of money. I have made almost a dollar fifty from internet marketing. Not 150. Not 150 a month. 1.50. Internet Marketing is a joke.


It is increasingly apparent that this type of living is no longer viable... Nothing can really convince me otherwise. I am a very capable person and my weebly sites generally look clean and professional. For my main one, I even moved it to a .net. Also, I am not interested in edited pictures of "earnings". If you don't have cash money, don't be talking. Pretty much done with IM at this point.

TS I hear you. I think a big mistake people make,myself included,early on is they look at IM as a hobby or something and think they can spend like 30 mins every other day and make $1000 a day. You have to look at IM as a real full-time job. You gotta work at it. You must understand you'll have to crawl before you can walk. I think that's more likely what the outcome would be if you have that negative behaviour towards what you do. I am a newbie for IM and I am at first frustrated because I am just earning at least less than 10 cents a day. But what matters most is your dedication and your perseverance to continue what you are aiming for. If you quitted right away, what if the next day you will get lots of viewers and kick in for more than $10 in a day?

For IM it is always rinse and repeat, the more you do, the more you earn, that's how I see it and that's how it motivates me and that's how we earn. Just my opinion tho, cause I can say I perfectly understand your situation because I walked that road before, but what I did, I posted in the journey, got inputs from people here and you'll see some improvements. Hope you can go back to IM.

Fact, it is harder to make money BUT not impossible. In the past a lot of tactics worked like meta keyword stuffing, scrapebox blasts directly to money site but we're in a different era. You can adapt but you need to really educate yourself. If you studied SEO you would know how to make money online. You need to dedicate everything. You need a REAL website not a weebly. A weebly site is used as a web 2.0 not a money site. Don't you dare put blogger as your money site either, unless your testing the waters.

Make a real website, get social signals, build manual links to your money site, use seo tools on the higher tiers but don't ever use them directly on your money site. Track your ranking, optimize. Heck, if you're stuck with SEO, ask for help. Read more. Try things you read, don't just read. Try PPC. So many things you can do to make money, don't give up.
