How the hell does one make money from PPV?

Ok I am stumped I paid for coaching that turned out to be a scam thanks rgrmatt ! Anyway part of it was that I tried trafficvance. I paid the $1000 initial fee, so far I have burnt $530 with very little success. I have tried the following

• Grants
• Colon cleansing
• skin care
• a Stock trading program
• six pack abs
• work from home
• and a few others

Nothing seems to stick, I tried installing their software to try to see what is being promoted but cannot get it to work. Maybe as I am in Canada it wont work?

Any offers? Willing to pay someone to get me on the road to profit ...

i gave up with ppv and now looking at ppc and so have a few others i know and having good success with ppc.

Yeah thinking the same just want to experiment with PPV funds that are left ... I was wondering if someone has a popup blocker would that still be counted as a view? Very little info out there for succeeding!

copy someone else's campaigns.dont try to create one.
best tool for copying campaigns is keywordspy.
and ppv does work.
also trafficvance has its own keyword tool.
did you do direct linking or landing page?

Secretboy thanks I have done direct and to lander ...now the one thing I have not gone crazy with is bidding up my site. I still get clicks for low cost views but no sales, if I went for the top bid will that make a difference? Maybe I have been over cautious, I did call the owner who was not really that much help ...

In ppv,
it is very important to update your bid to the highest,because thats were most of the leads come from.
and to lander is better than direct linking.
also did you not get even one lead or got very few leads?

your landing page should not be too long and the action button that is buy or get it or download it or whatever it is should be in the first fold of the landing page.
the user should not be forced to scroll down to find the action button.

Having the same problem...About $2000 down so far of $3000 spent. I ran some analytics on the users coming in and they are valid US users, almost 100% unique...

I will buy your ppv account. I know you have to have large deposit to start a ppv account and it doesn't work for you. I will buy it for 80 cents on the dollar.

It really sucks that you have to spend so much to get started. It also depends on what network you went with, some are just better converting. I've also heard that some companies will try and scam you with your tracking unless you have your own implemented (which I assume you do).

i would take that with a grain of salt, since adware is considered spyware.

Also I wouldnt even think about going into it since most adware companies have gone bust in the last few months.

I hate to say it, but PPV via adware is dead, which is what seems the OP is doing.

look into something like adwords and PPC, thats where the future is.

Dude....no, it's not. The things that drive adware/spyware (warez/porn/free shit) will never die, just get more competitive.

Try adding more target URLs (never used TV just MT). Get a good scraper.
