Hello Guys and Gals!

This is my first journey, and I'm very exited

A little bit about me: I started with IM just a year ago. I decided to take action after reading 100's of threads/methods/journeys and success stories. I told myself "if they can do it I can do it!" So far I've made $70k and growing. I don't know how to do S*it, so I'll be outsourcing. Please excuse my poor English.

I'm currently making money, but I'll only report the money I make with apps (games) in this thread.

My goal: Make $50k per month before 2015.
My Plan: Hire a developer to create the games for me, and then promote them with paid/free traffic methods (I don't want to go into details regarding this for obvious reasons).

I'll try to update this thread as much as I can. I won't stop until I hit $50k/month I PROMISE you!

Expenses: $876 = I've hired a developer and he's already working on my first game : ) (Very simple game).
Revenue: $0
Profit: $0

I'm in the app biz as well. How do you plan to promote your games beyond ASO?

Look forward to following your journey.

Are you planning on selling the games? Or having ads on the games? Or purchase credits to unlock game features?

Like I said I don't really want to go into details on how I'm going to promote, but basically I'm sure I can get a few thousands downloads per day at first, and I'm planning to do something that could potentially bring 100's of thousands of downloads overnight.

Thanks for following my journey!

The games will be free with features to unlock. I'll use ads as well.

Good luck but don't set yourself up for failure by making unrealistic goals. Sometimes smaller goals are good to keep you going. Keep in mind apps are about the most saturated thing in the world right now and for every one that is successful there are 10,000 failures. With that being said I do hope your the 1/10,000.

Oops, sorry missed that part! Good luck!

I appreciate your post mate, but see a year ago when I said that I wanted to work from home and be my own boss people told me things like "You should get a real job", "Start filling out applications", "You can't make a lot of money doing that" blah blah etc.. Well guess what happened. A few months later I found myself making as much as $1,000 in just one day. Now, I completely understand where you're coming from, but I have a different mindset. It's not about how unrealistic this goal might sound it's how hard I'm willing to work to get there. Also it's the same case with IM. There are many people who are trying to make money, but a lot of them are failing. I guess I'm one of the "lucky ones". : )

Your post just motivated me even more! :D

Update:

I was talking with my developer and the game should be ready in 7 to 10 days. I'm trying not to rush him.

Stay tuned... : )

Update:

I've created an apple developer account. (Yes, I pretend to make $50k a month and didn't even have the account yet). :D

Expenses: $876 + $104.94 = $980.94
