For me GSA has done the job well. One of the best tool that comes in cheap price. Works like a charm ! And those who says "SCRAPEBOX" is the best tool for backlinks then they are nuts !!! SCRAPEBOX is a must have tool but not the best for building backlinks.

@OP: GSA SER (along with GSA Captcha Breaker) and ScrapeBox! Also, you will need a good spinner for content.
These coupled with some simple macros to create Tier 1 links and social signals are enough for anyone doing linkbuilding.

Using automated tools to generate backlinks down right scares the hell out of me. I've ranked websites in the past in the #1 spot for terms getting 6,000+ searches with ZERO backlinks! My point is content always has been and always will be king when it comes to ranking.

BUT, if you do want to use tools to build links I recommend checking out Matthew Woodward's blog for some great info on it. (He's also an active member here on the forum)
