Ok. I have a problem getting a good business idea
I am from Croatia,22 year old student and would like to start a business in the island of Pag. Some of you may heard of it, there is a famous
Zrce beach ( it's called 2nd Ibiza, google it if you don't know). During the summer loads of young people come to party and have fun and I think it is one of the best places to make money during the summer in Croatia.

Why I picked Novalja? Becouse my friend and I already have 1 business there and we would like something more as we have spare time during the day.

I was thinking of something online, but it can also be offline business. I know how to build websites and am pretty good with everything else with computers.

So, do you have any idea ?

Its a pretty open ended question here. I've got ideas, but I'd want 20% of everything you make!

That or you can use your brain and keep 100%. Come on man, if you REALLY want to set up a business, you need motivation, and if you can't think of your own idea you've failed before you started.

as I wrote we already have something there, a paintball field, last summer was pretty good. We didn't make a lot of money becouse we have to return the money we invested.

as for ideas, I am looking for something new and innovative not something regular- I have lots of ideas but most of them all used there.
Novalja is a place where you can find tons of taxi cars, tons of shops, tons of restourants, tons of alcohol shops, tons of scooter rentals and literally tons of everything. People are coming there and keep opening stuff that's already there and the situation is that none of them gets too much work and money.

Advertise the businesses there online for a fixed cost.

Make them an offer to build them a website and the potentials that it might bring.

Be creative.

Well I have an idea that will work 100% in an area like this. I don't need 20% of your earnings that was a joke lol.

Contact loads of local businesses, request them to give discounts, like 10% of taxi journey, 10% off your food bill at a local restaurant. you then put all these coupons into a leaflet/booklet. Print 1000..2000.. 5000 off.. and hand them out to tourists, locals, hotels, anywhere. The local businesses will pay you a set fee to be part of it. OR you get commission for each coupon used. If you do it right, you can earn a tidy sum.

If it really is an Ibiza type place then best bet is to put up a site like this

basically a local places and nightspots directory. List everyone for free and focus on building the brand. Once you are getting regular traffic you can start charging for featured spots. Updates and listings.

Are there any big bar crawls there? If not, set one up. Also perhaps try creating a service to promote the clubs and bars that either they pay you a subscription for or you create sites etc then charge them for placement on it.

so you think something like party directory webiste? I could do it for all Croatia, not just one place.
What could I offer to do? Arrange transportation for turists, find a place to stay,... what else?

you're fortunate enough that tourist offer back in croatia is kind of poor when compared to places like greece, spain, turkey, etc.
you can go advertising route (online or offline or both) or offer services yourself (outdoors activities, pub crawls, wine and seafood tours, ...)
