Hi,

I am beginning my journey with IM and I am realizing I am not having very good success at all and Believe I am more than capable. Even though I am reading through different techniques to make money I do not understand why I am not nailing it like some of the 11 year olds I hear about on here. I am simply looking for a Mentor, trainer or tutor to teach me IM on a personal basis where I can ask questions if I go wrong. Learning IM for some people may come easy but just like other skills such as plumbing, web design there are things that need to be taught bearing in mind I am a complete NOOB!!

I am looking for 3-4 simple methods that can be taught to me on a one-to-one basis hopefully and can work out payment with someone on an hourly basis like a tutor.

Thanks

PM any Exec VIP. Most of them make money and will take the offer.
I've tried helping newbies without asking anything from them but in the end you might as well be doing it yourself.

  • You have to use your own money because they haven't got any.
  • They take up all your time talking crap because they think you haven't got anything better or else to do.
  • They expect to be making money the first day and do not understand the concept of patience.
  • They send you stupid messages on skype like "?" "?" "?" when you are with clients.
  • And then they want 50% of the profits.
The list goes on.

No mentor for you! Not allowed at BHW, we don't spoon feed but treat you like an adult rather than another mark like some other forums.

Well, oxonbeef, you bumped into idiots, not a future entrepreneurs.

I would love to have a mentor myself.
I'm having average success (for student) with sites in my language, making about $250/mth, with Holiday spikes in November and December (both $500/mth), but thing is - CZ is small country. I wanted to go for US/Global site to have $1000/mth at least, so I can do this full time.
So, I've built Amazon niche site with about 20 pieces of content at the moment (and still adding) and now I'm in linkbuilding phase - With decent amount of questions :))
I'm not looking for 24/7 babysitter. Just some experienced guy, who could answered me some Qs, give me an advice or something, here and there.

Forget a mentor and try just meet some decent people. Thats what i did

There's no need for a mentor. When you have a question, search for the answer using this forum or Google. If you don`t find it, search harder. If you still don't find it, open a new thread. Nobody who actually earns good money will waste their time mentoring others. They might answer a question or two, but not spoon feed anyone.

I'd suggest you look to JV with someone who lacks the skills you have but has the skills you need.
That way you can both grow your knowledge together without it being an expense to anyone else.

Try to learn on your own first and then ask others if you got in sort of trouble.
Google is always for your help.
DO NOT SPEND MONEY IN TAKING LESSONS FROM OTHERS.
You Gotta Brain.Use it.
Maybe results might get late but will be good enough :) :)

I think that list is why some coaches, good or bad have a bad reputation. If Thomas made a WSO selling site flipping coaching, he'd probably get a bad reputation. Even thought he knows everything about the subject. It's a tough market.

Hi, I am beginning my journey with IM... Thanks
So like 1-2 weeks we're talking about here? And now you want someone to mentor you because 11 year olds are banking here? hmmmm

I doubt anyone would do this as it takes time from them making money and you seem to not even be trying

Ignore the negative comments. Your gonna find haters no matter where you go. You have found the place you seek. Ask your questions to the community here. There are alot of really cool people here that are willing to help you if your willing to help yourself. Search the forum and ask questions. The answers to all your questions as a newcomer to IM are contained here. Good luck. :)

That's why i have joined BHW from digital point trajek.Peoples on digital point never help when you ask for help with MM they say stupids like go to sell ice cream and so on.And i don't recommend you any mentor.Start from 0$ and build osmething.Belive me,without money is better. If oyu have it as a newbie you waste it like me with porn tube!

Best of luck bro

Personaly when i started fulltime IM like 17 years ago i had a mentor. He was most of the time drunk (evenings) but a genius in finding free targeted traffic resources. He was already bored with 33 and his few millions he made.He took me under his wings and demanded 10% from all earnings for the ability to talk to him.We made our deal based on hand shakes. No contract or anything.Just based on trust.I can say it was the best start in my life i could get and even after 17 years passed and i don't need his support anymore for a long time i'm still paying him 10% from my income which i'm getting. From what i know 19 out of 20 people get selfish once they
make some money and getting a noob into a really good webmaster takes time.

Hey Bud, Like a lot of the other guys are saying, avoid the coaching thing if you can. I have been severely ripped off in the past, and learned my lesson. The stuff you can find here and through Google is more than enough to get you pointed in the right direction, and if you get stuck, just ask! Good Luck!

There are people who will mentor you for free.
Just try to attend seminars locally to you or become friendly with people in groups or forums.
You can get lots of advice here and if someone is kind enough, they might even respond to some of your PMs and Skype messages and give you some tips 1-on-1.
It might sound crazy but I got a lot of help here myself, and I'm better off for it. I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for some people I know and this forum.
Obviously, you need to be vigilant because a lot of people will try to take advantage of desperate people and rip them off.

Self education worked best for most of us here, and that is what I recommend to anyone new in IM.

So is IM now a skills that is so rare that you only need a mentor to learn it?
