We made Google`s first page in 48hrs but how?

Hi no i didnt buy anything from the guy he did this to show me what can be done and yes Im going to be very careful for sure.

Tell him to rank for a keyword, one which has competition and which has over 10,000k searches. My guess is he simply will not respond, and move on to his next victim.

Ranking for keywords like this is usually to fool non-seo people (usually local clients) who have no idea about how the internet and search engines works.

It's like ranking for firstname-middlename-lastname.com for firstname middlename lastname when you have a unique name that no one else has. Google has no other results to show but your domain. Once the domain is indexed, it'll be ranking on first page even with no content.

"I am not a seo person but thinking this is incredible right?" Okay, this makes sense now lol. Sorry I missed it the first time I read the OP.

If there was no comp, it is quite easy. Did the same for a low competition keyword who had only three real competitors with a blogger some spinned content drip feeded and 4 backlinks, now I'm sitting on top of google ( 2 ). and I'm confident that a monkey chasing a banana would have done the same.

Just take care of what he will offer you after this....

Lots of good advice and info here I really appreciate it guys BHW Rocks

"marketing experts ormond beach" with quotes on Google returned 3 results. So that means it has no competition at all. :)

tell him to get you ranked for "ormond beach marketing" which has 39,700 results.

First I dont know squat about SEO, I did try to make a copy cat website of what he did, even bought a domain name and tried to create a sitemap and then submit to yahoo, google and bing but no luck on my end . I dont know how he does it but Im going to have him do one for a client of mine to see if it happens again.

That website you mentioned above is an IFRAME of the site you are linking to in your sig. Only a few H tags added as unique.

If you go on that website, you'l see the designed by "<company site>" - open it by copy pasting link in a new tab - same website.

Funny little trick.

Basically all he did is get indexed lmao. You take a string of characters and words that no one else has used and buy the EMD, do very basic on-page SEO, shoot some social signals to get it indexed and HOLY SHIT YOU JUST RANKED A SITE IN 24 HOURS! Lmao...gg.

One thing I`m figuring out with this thread is that if I were smart id find alot of low ranking or low competion keywords and get a site ranked on the first page for those keywords, hmm if 10,000 people a month are searching a keyword and im ranked tenth on that page then im not going to get alot of real traffice right? but if I rank first on a low keyword and all 40 people that search that keyword can find me better thats good right?

Yeah you are right, but ranking with only 2 days old domain on 1st page ?

It's easy because the keywords have no competition. If someone wants to pay me, I'll do it in 24 hours! Not terribly useful for anything though.

This is really cool! I hope he shares his secret.. (although I doubt if he will!)
Let's see how long it will be on the first page!

Just because 40 people search the keyword it does not make the keyword low comp. I often go for some keywords which are 50 -100 a month searches as they are high paying, but they still have a fair bit of comp. You tend to be able to judge the competition by the amount of websites which has the phrase in their title.

Yeah exactly man. This is precisely what Micro Niche Sites are. Basically all the work involved in MNS is scoping out KW's that are worth your time because of enough search volume, but that are so easy to rank that you're guaranteed some profit. I'd take a low competition KW with some potential for revenue over an extremely hard KW that you most likely will never rank for - just make sure that there's SOME search volume, and some advertisement competition if you're going the Adsense route (not necessary if you're monetizing w/ other methods.)

The thing about big money keywords is it often takes big money to achieve success with them in the first place - at the very least a shit load of time and resources. There are very few exceptions to this, and if you're lucky enough to stumble upon one of those exceptions then you probably hit the jackpot. That's why it's so common for people to target large quantities of low competition niches.

While this looks impressive, it obviously isn't. There are a total of 4 results when you do an "allintitle" search for the keyword. There is NO competition. It does look impressive to a prospective client though. Its an amazing selling tool if you're into SEO services and rank a prospective customer in a few hours with "rebel mouse" or a YT vid for some very easy keyword.

A few backlinks and a little time will drive that right to the top of the search results and keep it there. Again, no mystery here; but looks great.

This is very interesting. Im just getting into website building and I'm using go daddy as a host, how do i go about adding keywords for SEO? Do i do it in my go daddy account or is there a tool that I need to set keywords for my site to appear on google?

There's an arguably "complex" algorithm that goes into *determining if your site will appear in Google, and where. You don't just "set" something lol. You've got a lot of reading to do bro...
