Hi every one .
I just build new site for specified Niche that have high competitions .
And I want to try another strategy to make it clean as much I can on Eye of Google .
The only legit way I found is Paid Directory . I found many Paid Directory have PR between 7 and 5 . even some inner categories have PR5 or PR4 .
From previous experiences with free Directory submitting PR rise from PR N/A to PR3 for one of my sites .
I know some of this Directory are overprice their fees to couple hundreds/year . and some offers 25$ one time fee .
is this worth it for long term and how many Directory should I submit for this new site .

They all have very high OBL number. Not worth it. There are better ways to spend 25$.

By the way, higher PR doesn't mean anything nowadays. At least, it doesn't help ranking.

Your goal is not SERP position/PR, your goal is traffic.
Directories will bring you 0 traffic.
Better go for guest blogging, social media and press releases.

Google does not like giving credit to paid links. Why would they give credit to someone steeling there business?

I have never paid for any directories further more the bigger the PR on a directory the more GOOGLE knows about it and discredits it.

Remmeber PR is not all serp ranking it's just one part of the algorithm. It's the same reason you will see a pr5 "Bob'sMichgantirereplacementservices.com" Well home boy has a pr5 but he will not show up anywhere for a basic search so his PR is useless to anyone outside local zones.

$300 monthly for virtually nothing.

Yearly but then they don't even charge you again, atleast I was never charged again and my sites are still listed.

But directories are a joke, stay away. This technique just isn't worth the money spent on it.
