Video Ranking System

So I got very angry after seeing a 4 hours old video with no views ranking a lot higher than my video. I tried hard to rank my video(HD quality with keyword in title, keyword in description many times and in tags) I sent thousands HR views with likes, favs, shares and other stuffs and I couldn't get higher than #15 position and now this video just jump in front of my video :|:|:|. Can anyone explain me that?

unlist video -> send stats -> list video -> bank -> say 'goodbye' to your YT account -> repeat

You can try to build backlinks to the video itself.

Are you talking about 15th in Google position or Youtube position?

Try different similar keyword combinations to see if your video is ranking for them as well.

As far as I'm concerned ranking on YouTube is affected by a combination of several factors including:
1. Video Popularity (number of views per hour)
2. Audience retention (time watched, average view duration)
3. Channel Authority (channel age, no. of quality videos, total channel views, average channel retention, partnership status, good standing)
4. User Engagement (likes, comments, social shares, favorites added, subscriptions driven)


**NOTE: NEW videos uploaded from channels with good channel authority or through the unlisted method may be instantly ranked on page 1. However, this effect is only temporary because without views to boost the video popularity, the video will be quickly knocked out of the first page. **

I think you mean unlisted. Setting visibility to private won't work.
