I got the budget plan yesterday. I had a couple of problems setting it up but they were my fault and the guys jumped straight it and sorted me out. I have been running 1 instance of scrapebox all night (which is all I want the VPS for) and it runs like a dream.

SAS plans have double speed disk than sata plan (15k vs 7.2k RPM). In our test we find as good result average than SSD (some faster, some slower). I much prefer SAS over SSD but some prefer SSD.

For SEO, you will gain in speed. For webhosting it's very interresting for get faster website like wordpress or such.

Yesterday testing a customer vps show 600/910Mbps from 100W SATA plan in France

From a 100Mbps connection? Testing is a bit better today than a couple days ago but still not 100Mbps (about 80Mbps) connection speed.



Saying you're getting 600/900Mbps from this connection is difficult to believe unless you're selecting a datacenter on the same backbone. Your post suggest 4.8Gbps/7.2Gbps connection at the browser through a sliced dedi through a datacenter backbone.

Can someone with an active VPS on this service run a speedtest.net selecting a server with a ping > 8ms and post results?

The test was done in France from DC to Bouygues Telecom test server, they aren't on the same network but both are in France.
Test was ofcourse from a 1GBPS linik

Speed is bits and not bytes (so divide by 8). Will do some speed test later with different DC and show the DC.
All other competitor generally don't show the test DC because they only choose local or closest DC
For France we can find lower speed on real decent DC but always get about 600Mbps (BT/SFR/FREE/NeoTelecom ...)
Most operator in France are connected each other with 10Gbps or multiple 10Gbps private peering or with bigger interconnexion too.

USA Backbone tend to be slower but good quality. 300/200 Mbps is fast enough. However got better result last month. Capacity will be add but more than that's a good Tier1 telco will be add.

If don't get new Dallas servers (new location yes) will done several benchmark if nobody post them. There is some on google you can find on another forum. Others tests from customers i saw where on private SEO forums

With 1GB plan check memory and cpu if you use Budget plan (Only 1 core)
