Romanian Internet 1000 Mbps 17$/month

@positivcriss your pc won't handle it, unless you have the newest I7 processor, SSD hard and more than 6 G of ram. I have a friend that works there and the test was done on a state of the art PC.
Sorry, you're wrong. Doesn't anyone have 1Gbit/s LAN?
You don't need a state of the art PC. CPU requirements for traffic routing are 1MHz per 1Mbit (rule of thumb), so 1GHz should be a minimum for this kind of connection. Nowadays almost everyone has at least dual core CPU, so you need only SSD and at least 2GB RAM.

And last thing: they 100% don't provide 1Gbit/s speed to any other country. At most this is max connection speed inside Romania.

Obviously this isn't a computer forum.

I have two 300/300mbps from my isp.. $16 each.. Poland.. and its really 300/300 :)

The price is what amazes me the most, how can it be so cheap? Mine is 30 and it cost 30

Wow, here in the states that is way faster than anything available. Verizon fios is the fastest that I know and that is about 300Mbps

I used to be excited when my download on Kazaa got 20kbps back in the AOL days.

I pay like $20 for 15mbps but I only get around 7mpbs download and 2mbps upload.

2MB for 40$/month ... And It never reaches this speed anyway :(

I pay around 30 usd for 6 Mbps in Argentina. Higher you can get here is 30mbps and cost like 80 usd.

Lol I live in Bulgaria
My ISP charges me around ~6$ for 16Mbit/s unlimitted traffic + free wifi router as gift. We have better internet providers but the tax for mine is low and I dont need higher speed. Also we are long time clients and they give us free stuff like and cheaper phones, cheaper plans (mobile/home internet/3g/ plans) etc etc.

Little offtopic
By the way I see many people mistakenly think that MB/s and Mbit/s are the same thing. Truth is MB/s (Megabyte per second) is 8 times bigger than Mbit/s (Megabit per second) which confuses many people including me (MB/s is the speed in your torrent client and in your browser). ISP's take this for marketing loophole and legally "lie" people. Real exapmle is my Internet connection - its 16Mbit/s but I can only download with 1.4 max MB/s (some wire loss + wifi) and there you have it.

So this Romanian internet connection is 1000/8=125MB/s download and 30/8=~~4MB/s upload.
I dont hate (I love Romanian music) just want to clear things a bit.

Rent a flat for $150 in Bucharest
Get the 1GBPS internet connection for $15
Get 10 solid dedicated servers for $2000-$3000 USD

Start your own hosting company with a in-house data center - priceless :D

My maximum Internet speed is 30kb/s. No idea how I survive :(

Damn dude, how do you do SEO?
I remember my miserable 5mbps and it was not far better than Dial Up. Now I got 100mbps and it's pure awesomeness.

And when the network is down wait 2 days for the RDS employees to fix things :D

I never really liked the big companies because the lack of support. With the little companies you call directly the owner and he comes by to fix anything. The little company I work with has the 1Gbps package for around $30/month. I have the 500 Mbps for $15 and I simply can't ask for more, it's useless to get the biggest package unless you have a SSD and want to download with 60-80 Mbps from torrents which is not my case :D.
