[Newbie] Question regarding Page Authority

So about 2 months ago, I created around 14 web 2.0's pointing towards my money site. The site is still sitting on the 3rd page for its main keyword. Now yesterday, all of my Web 2.0's have picked up page authority of 25+. One of the web 2.0's even has a page authority of 44. Can i expect a boost in the ranking since these web 2.0's have gained page authority?

This will have some effect. I would suggest that you build more Web 2.0's with unique content and repeat.. To make your links 'natural', you need to pretend that you know nothing about SEO.
