Hello Black Hat World!

I recently just started my website which is a new/pop-culture website.
I was wondering how I can get it noticed and traffic flowing to it.

So far the only tool I'm using is copy/paste and PR Storm but it hasn't done anything for me yet.

Anyother tools you suggest or could tell me about.

Pretty much I just post news articles, then post an article about my opinion on that news.

Kinda basic but I'm hoping to get some hits.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There are a lot of ways to get your site noticed. If you have a feed of your articles submit those feeds to basic feed directories. But what I would do is get it in feedburner and make sure you are using their pingshot service which will automatically ping different services when your feed changes. Also make sure if you have a blog you have a technorati account. Other things you can try is go to blogcarnival.com and submit posts there. I usually get noticed by google within 24 hrs. I know this is basic, but it works for me. Hope this helps.

I'll try those techniques.
Any software that could help?
Like a article pharaphraser or random content generator.
Or autosubmitters or other prstorm like software.

I've heard a lot about pligg.

What is pligg?

You can get a lot of good links from social networking sites. Use SEnuke to help you set up the links. The links can send you targeted traffic and improve your search engine rankings.

Senuke is kinda complicated.
Any tutorials?

try using some videos they can be very powerful.. use tubemogul.com to upload to several sites at a time with your URL in the description

That's a good suggestion. Video sites get heavy traffic and Google is focusing more in that area too so creating videos can really help you. You can also use TrafficGeyser to submit the videos.

I'll look into videos.

What about pligg?

My dream/goal would to make about
$10.00 a day on my site.

Do you think this is feasible?

$10/day is certainly feasible. Some people can make a lot more and some have trouble making any money. Depends on the site content, traffic level, demographics, and monetization methods. Also depends on your expertise and commitment.

My site is going to have articles about news and celebs.
Traffic level: Not Sure About This
Demographics: Everyone interested in news and celebs
Monetization: Adsense Unless Banned then AdBrite
Expertise: Good At Web Development Bad At Blackhat and Marketing
Commitment: Daily Updates

I'm working on getting traffic to my new site as well. I set it up as a product review site so I can push things I promote and hopefully have others write reviews of stuff as well to generate traffic.

Monetization - Adsense and advertised products
Commitment - Daily reviews

SOCIAL BOOKMARKING.

Tonight - I used Social Marker to set up accounts on a lot of Social Bookmarking sites. I belong to 20+, and I bookmarked one article. It's already brought in over 30 UV's, and that's 1 article. The possibilities are limitless from here.

I don't understand how to use that Social Maker website.

Ok so today I did ever suggestion in this thread.

I signed up for feedburner, pingsites, and blogcircus.
I submitted a munch of videos using tubemogul.com
I used socialmarker.com and socialposter.com to upload to social bookmarks.
I also used PR Storm 1.0.

I'll tell you how many hits I get tommorow.
Hopefully it's about 250!

Not getting any hits
I'm sad.

Easy way would be to get a cracked copy of bookmarking demon, available here and use the hell out of it.

Spend a couple of days signing up for loads of accounts everywhere and then use it to bookmark your pages as well as ping them.

Download the free blog commenter and start getting some good quality ******** links from blogs.

Submit your site to stumbleupon and digg (with aged accounts if possible).

Then you can start to look into the more time consuming link / traffic building methods such as article submissions, link exchanges, squidoo lens' and blog posts on parasite pages (WPMu and the like).

Only then would I really think of using a tool like PR Storm, its a pretty simple tool but takes a lil knowledge to use for full effect. Lots of other black hat tools out there too like RSS Xploiter and other automated tools.

I wouldn't advise paying for something like SENuke, autopligg or Xrumer though until you really get grounded and have some regular money coming in and lots of other sites.

Hope that helps.

Jim

Ha - I b'marked 2 of my posts on my site as well and didn't receive crap.

I thought there was no working copy of bookmarking demon cracked?

This is all excellent advice however I am confused about the video suggestions. I see it suggested a lot and I don't understand what is meant by it.
Do you mean to make a video about your site? Like with you in it talking about your site? Or to film a target sheet of your website address? Or what?

I'd appreciate an explanation because these just sound silly! Lol.

You just type in the infor about your site with the keywords and site link and info it asks and then hit the enter button. then it will take you to a page where it will lead you to bookmarking sites like digg, technorati and others. and if you have registered then you can submit the article (you can see the buttons on the top right of the site). But if you aren't registerd then just register with the button verify and then again submit the site.
If are already logged in then you are directly taken to the submit page and with the info filled. if its not filled just copy and paste the data located at the bottom of the page.
