Pinterest adsense question

Hi,

I recently started to use the recipe blog method for pinterest. I am pinning recipes to group boards from my blogger blog. And after about a week an increase in my traffic finally starts to show. But I have a question for those who are using this method as well. Where is the best place to put up your adsense ads? I guess I must be doing something completely wrong when it comes to the placements because I get about 1300 daily visitors and only about 10 clicks per day. Are there maybe any sample adsense sites for blogger to get an idea how the ideal placement of ads would look like?

You should try using a 336x280 big rectangle right above your content. This ad seems to be the best performing for a lot of people.

Yes I used to think the same. I was also very sceptical at first, but then I was very surprised with the traffic I got. However, it takes a while until your content gets shared and your traffic can grow from that. And it only works with the big boards. So if you are searching for an alternative method you should definitely try it.

I copied and pasted them. So far I haven't had any problems with adsense when it comes to copied content.

I would re-write them at least a little bit. Google doesn't like copied content and if it hasn't figured out yet then it will once you start getting more clicks. Just go through and make them unique it won't take much longer than 5-10 minutes.

I would re-write them at least a little bit. Google doesn't like copied content and if it hasn't figured out yet then it will once you start getting more clicks. Just go through and make them unique it won't take much longer than 5-10 minutes.

Keep a couple of ads above the fold, if you're not already. Beyond that, it's important to split test - I don't know what budget you have, but A/B split testing is a solid track towards conversions and profits, since you'll know you're only going with things that work better and better.

And yeah, copied content may or may not be good in the long term - it'll depend on the particulars of your method, though I personally advocate for originality. Also consider the situation from a purely marketing "psychology" point of view. Exactly what sorts of people are coming to this page? What would they logically be into? Ensure your content and ads properly reflect that.

It's just food for thought. I think it would be pretty devastating to have your adsense account banned so I would just go through and slowly rephrase your old articles. As you post new ones you can spend 5-10 minutes rephrasing as you post.

I don't think you should use an auto spinner unless it produces great results (ie. WordAI Turing). Even then it needs a once-over because the grammar certainly isn't perfect. If you have higher quality content then it will surely be re-pinned more often and visitors will stay on your page longer which will likely result in more clicks.

Just my 2 cents - thanks for elaborating on the method. I only use Pinterest to monetize a funny website so far which seems to be working.

how many followers do you have now?
i am also planning to use your method(pin the same picture to different boards),but i am worried that if i pin one picture to different boards(like pin 1 picture to 10 boards),then my followers's front page will be loaded up with 10 same pictures,is this true?
if it's true,it's not annoying but also leaving a "spammer" target on my back.

funny website+adsense? is it just funny picturres? adsense doesn't like sites with pictures only

I agree that originality is better in the long run. But I think for now I will only change and spin minor things. Because the thing is that I am not a native speaker and so I also looked at this whole thing from a psychological and sociological point of view: The main users of pinterest (and this goes particularly for recipe boards) are American housewives. And as a girl who is surrounded by women like this (no offense intended, btw) I know that the one thing which will tick off most of these cuuraazy wannabe stepford wifes is a page full of strange wording and false grammar So I guess I will have to wait until this method will give me the budget to pay for some articles...

No worries. I am very thankful for every advice I can get. I am very new to pinterest+adsense marketing anyway, so I obviously need to learn a lot. Yes about the articles, I already explained to so. else above, that I don't think I will rewrite them a lot. And if I should do some rewriting it will be minor things because I'm not a native speaker. I write my own articles for my gaming niches, but the target audience there is something entirely different (teenage boys and young adults from all over the world). I don't think it will work for my pinterest target audience if I write or rewrite my own articles/recipes, because in my case the quality of copied articles will certainly be higher than my self-written content (which is the main reason I use them). But thanks, I'm gonna try this WordAI spinner you were talking about. I think my only option is too wait until I can buy articles...

Yes I also tried other niches with pinterst. But so far I had the best traffic with the recipe niche. It's literally like these woman are starving in front of their screens. It's crazy.
