Backlinks for Youtube videos

I am little confused about backlinks for Youtube videos. I saw many videos ranked on YT with only few views, so they aren't using HR Views, example as in this thread : http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...how-these-people-ranking-so-fast-youtube.html

On some KW I saw videos ranked with only 8 views and no likes. That's amazing a must say! So the people talking that the key for this are the backlinks but what I am confused about is that backlinks are good to rank your video on both - Google searches and Youtube searches or only Google? Because when i look on Google for some KW I find videos ranked there (check with Ahrefs and Majesticseo and they do have indeed bl) and for same KW I search on Youtube and those videos not found there.

Btw on that videos with low views count, I checked also and : No results for specified domain/URL in Ahrefs index.

So where backlinks help us?
Another question : How to rank YT videos only on Google?

Yes i have noticed the same thing too. It seems since the last Youtube update
videos are being ranked with little views and no backlinks. I guess the videos
are being ranked based on channel authority or some seo juice from there
Google Plus or Hangout page.

Rankings on youtube are changing every minute these days.
This so called glitch ranks fast, but I think don't keep the video on top for much time depending on the competition you have, cause others may know the glitch as well.

But yes ... people are ranking with a bit o views (no need to be HR ... I tried and did) and almost no likes, comments, subs, etc ...

Nowadays YouTube gives everyone a chance to get their video get better noticed. The way they do this is by putting (almost) every new video on the first page of YouTube search, to give them a chance (only if they receive a good amount of views once uploading (~500-5000).


For example. Let's say you upload a video of a song cover of "Say Something - A great Big World".

If you receive ~500 views from your subscribers etc in the first 24 hours, you will see that your video will be on the first page of YouTube search for "Say Something". That is, because YouTube wants to give everyone a chance of going viral. So new videos go there too.
However, if you receive no, or little, views after being on the first page of YouTube, you will go down in rankings ~24-48 hours later.

On the contrary - once you're on that top page and you receive lots of views from those search results, it means that people like your video, and your video will stick on YouTube's first page for that keyword.

In other words, YouTube gives almost everyone a chance of going popular by putting them on the first page of the keywords for ~24 hours. How long you stay there depends on how much you views you receive in the time you stay there. It's pretty simple.

As whatrat mentioned:

1. Upload video as unlisted
2. Wait a day
3. Send 1500+ HR (geo as well if you can find a seller atm) views.
4. Wait another day or 2
5. Send some likes, comments, favorites and subscribers (helps keep the video stay for longer)
6. Make public a day later
7. ??? Profit ???

What I already did is I uploaded it public and used u2bviews and got the view aand added likes,favourites and a couple of comments then I didn't see this method, then I change my video to unlisted and do the above you mentioned will it still rank it? Is the video also lasting with the unlisted method above?

There is no glitch you are simply another scammer in the making.

As far as I'm concerned ranking on YouTube is affected by a combination of several factors including:
1. Video Popularity (number of views per hour)
2. Audience retention (time watched, average view duration)
3. Channel Authority (channel age, no. of quality videos, total channel views, average channel retention, partnership status, good standing)
4. User Engagement (likes, comments, social shares, favorites added, subscriptions driven)


**NOTE: NEW videos uploaded from channels with good channel authority or through the unlisted method may be instantly ranked on page 1. However, this effect is only temporary because without views to boost the video popularity, the video will be quickly knocked out of the first page. **

The method to rank a video without views or backlinks is simple:

Upload as many videos (20-30) with similar titles on the same channel and that's it!

i am using the unlisted method and i am making some cash but videos are getting down after half hour-2-3 hours max because i put just 301 views and i public them right away. I think if i wait one day and put some views and likes and make it public after one day will stay longer, right ?
