Amazon offers it via their EC2 cloud program, but otherwise there are very few providers who offer this service due to costs, heat & power.

Dude, I don't know what they're going to charge you, but I would almost be willing to bet any amount of money it would be 100x cheaper to buy a couple of video cards yourself. You'll never get anywhere near any kind of efficiency renting a server, and I can't even imagine what they would charge.

Yes, I agree, I have already some 7970 and 7950 cards on working, but I would search also for some GPU servers... However, I'm on looking for more power searching on any way ....I think that is not impossible make a GPU farm with solar systems or cooling fusion for to get low cost electricity and make best rent efficiency. On pools I see anybody that have a lot of power compute like as 60-80 video cards that need over 15 Kwatt of power..... I think that is very expensive for make it on home..lol.

The power in a datacenter costs more than you pay at home...not to mention the 100 million other things that will cost more (ie space, bandwidth, etc.).

Its not profitable for a datacenter to offer it unless you are willing to pay in excess of $400-500/Month hence why you aren't finding anyone...video cards use a shit ton of power and put out a crap load of heat both of which are FAR from free in a datacenter not to mention you will need at least a 2U chassis to get enough airflow which means you eat up more space.

The nvidia cards in servers are available only because of online video game streaming and the servers used them are special design for Nvidia and custom built by Supermicro. They still use an ungodly amount of power and give off a LOT of heat and hence why when you go to someone like SL it costs an arm and a leg per month...that and the Nvidia cards used in those are in excess of $1500 each depending on the model.

bitcoin unlike scrypt coins can be done using very special build ASCI mining cards which use very little power (like 1/50th of a AMD card under full load) and also companies like butteflylabs special build both servers and addon cards that offer 200+GH/s which means they can sell you small pieces of that easily.

If this is your first time trying to get into mining you have a shit load to learn, read more buy less until you figure it out completely otherwise you will do nothing more than loose money.

Well, I agree on your think... the power problem is very incisive on this choice...but.. I want to think over this...so I'm make a little reflection...

• ok, mining bitcoins and other SHA-256 cryptocoins need ASICs cards.. yes, low power consumption and better performance. but need more GH power every day for keep your income... and difficulty for find blocks are very high... well, I start to think that Bitcoin coins is ending...
• every day incoming a lot of new cryptocoins with Scrypt code for GPU... very low difficulty for find blocks and very high profitable unless power consumption. This , checked with more online comparison tables..
• There are a lot of Scrypt coins than SHA-256 coins.... and I don't know why...
• on scrypt pool mining sites I found a lot of users that have very high KH/s power... I think that they pay power...or maybe... they use power system like these http://ecat.com/ecat-products/ecat-home or http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/ecat.com/ecat-products/ecat-1-mw , solar panels or others energy systems..
• now, incoming Quark coins for CPU mining... lol... so lot of VPS for minig , also this required power....

They said me that GPU hosting request are on growing and for now they propose only for Asics contracts.

Was there a point to your useless post there, or just the typical jackass making his presence felt? I think it's pretty funny that everyone is so negative to mining, when all you need are some simple math skills to figure out if, and how to make a small profit. While most will fail, its not because it's not viable. The usual reason for failure is a lack of planning and poor execution. To re-state what I said before, I don't believe hosting would be wise, but that's not to say it can't be accomplished. If you're very serious, what you would want to do is look at parts of the country where electricity is cheaper than others. For example, I have spoke with a guy recently who was hashing at an insane rate of 122,000 Kh/s but his power bill was only $2k per month. Considering at today's difficulty that's still good enough to find a block of LTC every other day or so. Since that block will be worth well over $1k, you would make back your electric overhead in less than a week. If you can plan an execute properly you'd be surprised what you can accomplish.

lol..very insane rate... 122,000 Kh/s is very high.. : can be with 90 cards... 350 W for card.. 31,5 Kw x hour -> 756 Kw a day -> 22,6 MW a month => 0,088 $/Kwh ....wow..very low... what country have this low cost ???
lol, with LTC he can get $850 a day so $25K a month... less $2K for power cost ..less also $3K for maintenance, cooling and other repairs, there are a $20K (+/-10% for coin fluctuation) for month.. LOL I'm very interested
