Wow, as someone learning ObjC this is certainly a journey I'm going to follow! Best of luck to you! What kind of games do you find to be the most successful in App development? Does it differ between devices?
I'm not sure if you would know anything about a question I asked related to an App in the lounge (Can't link it or PM about it because of my low post count). If you do have the time to check it out I'd greatly appreciate your input, if not I understand.
Good luck on your journey and as said by you you are not a newbie in Marketing field of games.
Please let me know some tips to start marketing of Android Games.
What you should do is an RTS like game, like game of war or clash of clans. You'll get players who would be willing to spend thousands of dollars just to win it.
if you can make something like the total war series however, it would be real time and a multiplayer. I know you'll be banking hard.
If you want to make a 5k a day, there is only one type of games which can help you achieve that - multiplayer games !
There is not much mp games on android and those ones which are available are really popular, because handheld mp gaming on your cellphone is really an amazing stuff. I would recommend you to create something like a League of Legends on PC for android, i know there are few games similar to it, but if you could create something that really reminds people on LoL, but still does not break copyrights, you would make tons of cash, of course it will take a lot of time to create ( and image after all ) characters, maps, special attacks, spells, stuff like those, then get all that coded and designed of course, but 5k a day is a lot of cash ( especially in Hun ), so it's worth a shot.
forum.cgpersia. It has stuff from 3Dbuzz, infinite skills, digital tutors, and lynda. It's 'free' but hopefully if you get good value from the courses you will buy later.
UPDATE
Hey guys, I haven't published my arcade game, cus I decided to focus on my older project I talked about, for several reasons.
I'm posting an image of a part of one of the levels in this game, which is unfinished, but I thought I'll share something here with you because I haven't posted any updates for a few days.
So, here is it (please note the scene is optimized for handheld devices and still W.I.P.):
*Image quality makes it look worse than it really looks because I linked it from a facebook source and its compressed.
You really should finish that zombie game, looks like you put quite a bit of work into it. I already see a lot of potential in it, I mean who doesn't love zombies?
Do you have any other competitors who have built a similar game like that?
