This is one of my favorite methods. For me it is easier to reply forum topics than commenting in blogs.
I use to search in google for forums in my niche and I use Seoquake to order the topics through pagerank.

All PR are correct, Actually this is a fast method to get backlinks than blog commenting, But anyone should be careful when they make a reply.

Making replies dont doesnt add or just a "thanks" "great job" word to this old thread even if you dont have any sig links really makes someone so suspicious.

I think this is much more effective to a non-techy sort of forum?

combine this with "why so serious" method. Put nice unsuspicious smiley and they wont even notice you.

I messaged the seller of this method on dp saying something on the lines of "so you are basically telling people to look up forums like forums.joomla.org and dig out old posts and leave comments with signature? I recommend you stop selling this method for this is free information found almost everywhere. Atleast stop fleecing people and limit the number of copies you sell to limit the possibility of a cry of scam"
