Was there a Youtube Update?

I noticed one Youtube view sellers on the forum is down and thought I even heard reference to another one. Does anyone know if there was some type of update? Many people have been reporting videos getting put on 301+ as well.

I haven't been around to know if this is a pretty regular thing or not. But if that is the case where there was an update, does that mean that HR youtube views are a thing of the past? Or is this something that just gets cleared up pretty fast?

Yeah, last month.

The sellers are almost up to speed with their new view scripts, but some of them were hit hard.

HR views are still important for ranking, it's just that YouTube patched the old scripts some of the sellers had when somebody made it public.

it was old about few months old I can't find it now, but I think that's what causes active changes in youtube algorithms

Well then that means they are not able to provide retention. The views get stuck at 301+, when the majority of views are just hit and run... If the views are of high retention, they will never freeze at all.

False! You have no idea what you're talking about. If you don't know, don't make false claims. It has absolutely nothing to do with retention.

This sounds scary though :| Hearing about Youtube supply sites closing down. I hope this isn't going to be some type of change that makes it so we can't get youtube views anymore. What's strange is that I see other sites out there that are still accepting orders. So I don't really know what's going on or even understand it all

I have a few friends who were views suppliers with huge client base. There were struggling from the 18 december update and now this new update happened... They are also thinking of closing their views business.. THis is getting harder lol...

really?? Let's say that you have a new video.. just refresh the browser 301+ times or just simple create a loop with get_video_info request and you can get your video stuck at 301+ views within few minutes?? So why it happened? because the views were just hit and run and nothing more..

On the other hand if you have views which have watched the video for a good amount of time, the views will not stuck at all..... That's what I have noticed...

Know what you're talking about before you post. I really don't feel like wasting my time explaining stuff to people who have no idea what they're talking about, but since you love to try to hate on me in skittles thread, here you go:
<301 views, everything counts, it doesn't matter what you do, what you send, how you do it

Anything after 301 views calls completely new requests on YouTube where they actually check your parameters amonst several other server sided checks to make sure everything makes sense. If it doesn't nothing counts. So you act like you know this, so then you don't know why the retention doesn't count? Because you're doing things wrong. It's people like you who use public scripts, that I probably shared and then act like you know something. Retention has absolutely NOTHING to do with it. Tell me why I can still do high retention if that's the case.

People spreading false rumors, gotta love it. BTW umerj, you tried to say in skittles thread I was stealing customer because I liked people talking about his horrible service. I liked it because I see how bad it is and how it needed to come to an end. How do I gain clients for liking something? But, that backs up your post here too, no logic, no idea what you're talking about.

I partially agree with that.
What happened is pretty simple: Script leaked in forum -> Tons of noobs using it -> Script changed -> Noobs were able to do some simple variations (because the youtube update wasnt that big) and sold scripts for $20 (dumbass's) -> Now youtube is making big updates

So yea, it was an explosive combination.

So does this mean that nobody out there can provide high retention views? I seen a GIG on fiver as well as an advertisement on here and they both looked active and taking orders but I just don't know if it will even be possible to get them.

This recent update just shows you are all full of shit and you have all rinsed the same method and now have been caught stop going on like you are some holy god because you and every view provider are a bunch lying pr***s
