The free solution is hard work and time and lots of both at that. Google ferociously bans IPs when they hammer. If you load in 10K proxies to test, you might get 300 google passed proxies. Except that while your finishing testing 100 other people might be hammering those same IPs. Well your 300 proxies might be down to 175 by the time you are done testing. Then you load them in and start scraping. Well scrapebox will then be cycling thru them trying to find good ones. So by the time you get 100 keywords in you might have only 75 proxies left. By the time SB spends most of its time retrying dead proxies your going to finish up with a small percentage of your keywords finished, many of them skipped and have to start the whole process over.
Personally my experience has been if try to use free proxies that I spend more time squirreling around with proxies then I do actually with scraping. If you have time to kill like nobodies business, then go ahead and scrape free proxies. But you will need good proxy sources and a good internet connection, so you can test them quickly. If your internet is slow or your sources are poor, or both, you might as well quit now and go find a job to make the $10 a month needed to buy some shared proxies and get going.

I only use private proxies to scrape 99.99999% of the time. Once every few months Ill be maxing everything out and I want to scrape more so Ill grab proxygo's list as I paid for his membership years ago. He provides port scanned prefilter lists, so they last longer and these are decent for scraping, but Id not try my hand at actually trying to get any real work done with public proxies that I scrape myself.
That said, your welcome to give it a go. Find your self some good proxy sources first. I have 2 videos on how to do that, the first is below and it links to the second:

Then just harvest and test and scrape.
If you have the automator plugin you can set 1 instance of scrapebox to always be harvesting, testing and saving proxies to file so you have a filtered list.
You could also start off by going to proxy forums and copying the list of filtered proxies people provide for free daily. I used to do that "way back in the day" (lol) when I got started. But google bans quicker now, so Im not sure how well that will work out these days.
Really though, you can buy some shared proxies for $10 at buyproxies.org and set connections to 1 and never worry about it.
That or just set up a random delay of 45-60 seconds and then use your own IP and don't use proxies at all. Make sure you go to settings and untick both the use custom harvester and use multi threaded harvester, or the delay won't work.
