I have been trying to rank a website since an year now since it lost all the 1st page ranking due to algorithm update with no success. I am planning to go all blackhat.

I am considering to make my own blog network or maybe buy some private network services.

Please suggest me which one would be the safest.

Thansk!!

make your own private network, that would be the safest.

Dont leave common footprints, mix them with web 2.0..

When you are going for black hat what you mean by 'safest'. If you are practicing blackhat one day or other your site going to penalize for sure.

Hi,

One thing I've found is that there probably isn't really a "white hat" method of promoting your site. I'm semi-certain that Google considers all link building on YOUR part is an attempt to manipulate their rankings, and therefore Blackhat. Also, any type of buying links (outside Google Adwords - their links are fine) is blackhat so it's kind of hard for me to even imagine what "white hat" is, aside from writing an amazing piece of content and pray that Oprah features you on her next show. I am not sure what white hat is even. Ranking is linkbuilding. You linkbuilding is what Google doesn't like. Kinda seems like they expect you to sit back and hope and that's about it.

My advice based on absolutely no experience is blog networks and web 2.0's. Web 2.0's I'm managing with Rankwyz. Blog network - I've only got 3 sites that would qualify and still working on those. Haven't linked them but will see what happens when I do! There are a lot of good tuts on here regarding blog networks... give them a look.

XH

Thanks for the valuable suggestions! The only difficult part for me is to get expired domains with decent PR and DA as I do not have any tool. Is there any service from where I can purchase such domains. I am looking for 10 domains to begin with.

godaddy auctions, flippa auctions - try them

Welcome to the darkside... this is where the money is :)

Creating your own Private blog network would be a great option. Also there are lots of tutorials on that. But lots of time and hard work is needed

Google Social signals... Trying the Black hat way just because you're not succeeding otherwise is a sure-fire way to get debunked... Why would google algorithms have affected you, as you've only used white hat seo so far?

Why do people think that there is some clear cut line between white hat & black hat and if they switch from one to the other they will get better results?

You need to focus on the strategies themselves and experiment and see what works. There's no point trying to label everything.

the hardest part is hosting and content I guess? how many site can I host in the same host? and all the article must be unique? how about spun content?

To the OP: Making your own is safer because more of the variables are under your control. Also because it's never advertised.

(On the other hand, if you doubt yourself, then the services might be safer.)
