Free SMS Gateway?

Hey guys!

I have over 700,000 phone numbers I need to send texts out to and I'm trying to find a free way to do it. Does anyone know of a free way? If there isn't a free way, I'd be willing to JV and give you a certain $ amount per sale we make.

A few years ago I had a site that would send free sms but then it stopped working. I don't think you can send 700,000 sms for free, but there are some cheap sites out there.

Thank you. How cheap is cheap? The ones I've seen, to send that many would be thousands of dollars.

You'll need an SMS gateway with a cellular provider. You will need to prove the numbers are opt in
before sending on mass.
There is a blackhat way but the set up is expensive and the penalties are severe.

I don't have opt-ins, only a list of professionals I'm marketing to. Its completely relevant to their profession. If I customize each text message to include their name and make it seem personal and not spam, would that pass?

No. The telephone company will know that it's spam when you send 100s of messages in a short time even if you change name of receiver.

For example, one night, I sent about 40+ seasonal greetings SMSs (in October 2013, and it took about 60~90 minutes to send them all) to all my friends and relatives, who are definitely not first-time SMS receivers from my number (so they can be considered "opt-in"s too ). Yet, later I received a message from the telephone company that I have sent a lot SMSs and need to take care (the message was something like this).

There are some sms apis you can try to look for. There used to be zeep mobile but they stopped.
