A Game Developer's journey to $5,000 a day!

Great! Something new.
Are you going to hire someone to develop the game?
I heard that mobile is great if it goes viral

Now that's what I call a unique journal!

What language/engine are you using to develop these games?

Lower your expectations $5 per day and you will feel better....No stress...lol

No offense, but your mentality sounds like an unsuccessful person's mentality, and thats not how I think. Those are not expectations, those are goals that I'll reach, only matter of time. It works this way.

The only limitations are the ones we put on ourselves. Rock on, v3ctor.

I don't usually follow journey threads, but this one looks great dude. Please see it through to the end? Good luck!

Hey v3ctor, best of luck on your journey!

Everyone in the startup scene is convinced that all the money is in mobile apps\games these days. Even if ONE game that you make goes viral and blows up, that could be bringing in your $5k/day goals.

I am curious of a few things, if you have the time to answer:
1. Are you targeting both Android and iOS?
2. What game engine are you using? Is it cross-platform? Compile-to-Native or HTML5+JS?
2a.) Are they 3D or 2D games?
3. Are you planning to generate revenue through in-app Adverts, IAP\micro-transactions, or store sales?
4. Do you have any marketing plans such as FB\Twitter or YT to increase exposure? or just going to upload to the app store and hope for the best?

Cheers,

Good luck on your game developing journey! I currently develop android apps (recently) and have recently published an app where you basically press a button and a sound is made :D (My very first app) and by integrating ads in it. I'm currently making $50 a month just from that app.

Targeting both platforms, but I'll start pushing it to android first. I'm using Unity3D(pro) game engine. My games are mainly 3D games. Planning to generate revenue through different types of in-app advertisements and micro-transactions as well. Social Networks will be integrated (actually I have some sick plans to make my babies go viral ;)). I'll also market on YT.

Thank you and congrats to your success with your first app! :)

If you don't mind, I have 2 questions for you:
1. What're your faults?
2. How you make money with your apps?(Sell them? Adsense? or others)
Good luck mate! I want to do like you but now I have to learn programming from the beginning :(
I've just got up my official job, and I want to stay at home and make money online!

Developing a mobile game has always been on the back of my mind.

Best wishes on your journey! I've subbed to it :)

hello, what did you do with your last website to make ALOT of money with it?

Thanks

Developing games has always been in the back of my head. I recommend making a flash version of it and putting it on your site (if you have one) like a trial or so.
Best of luck.

Very unique and interesting journey, wish you all the best buddy.
