Need help with SEO Audit

I have no doubt you could do that - but I'm not buying any website.
I came to this forum looking for help and analysis of my link profile - I thought this was a good community for advice and suggestions but apparently I was wrong. I will try and find people who will lend a hand elsewhere.

We are a helpful bunch. But you you have to do a little but yourself - that's why I suggested you get an ahrefs report and do some analysis - that's the advice it sounds like your asking for.

if you'd rather someone do it all for you, then Skyrockets proposal is probably an appropriate one.

Thanks davids355. It's helpful advice to use ahrefs. I use opensiteexplorer but it doesn't show as many links as ahref. I've gotten good advice so far - 1. reduce load speed, 2. optimize home page headers, 3. get higher quality back links, and 4. check anchor text percentages of link profile (stay within 10-20%.)

So all is not lost.

It's just insulting to have someone say they will outrank you within 2 weeks no problem - and I know they actually could - but no matter how hard I try - i just can't. There is little competition (almost none) for the keywords I'm trying to rank for and regardless of my home page there has to be some reason my sub pages aren't ranking at least page 5/6 on on site alone.

I've tried getting quality links. There's only so much I can do on my own.

I was hoping someone would take a look at my link profile and just let me know if there were any glaring issues. I know how to look at my own profile. But people on this forum are more experienced than I am and know better "what" to look for.

For example: I have one client website that has over 300 pages. That's over 300 links coming to my main website. Someone from this forum might be able to tell me if I should get rid of all but one of those - and which of my pages the link should point to.

Another example: I have forum signatures and links throughout other forums. Are these links helping me? Hurting me?

Another example: My ratio of linking domains vs links = 35:1269 is that good or bad? should that change? Does it matter?

I'm just looking for someone to actually look at the profile and give constructive advice on how to better handle my link profile.

In my opinion it is ok, but it doesnt matter. I noticed that some sites, even though not penalized by Google, have a hard time ranking for some low comp KWs. Google algo don't see domain as a quality site or who knwos what ...I mean, if we knew how algorithm works (besides the fact that it feeds itself with links) everybody would be able to rank for anything.
Also, I think if you make improvements regarding laod speed and on-page SEO you will get better rankings in 10-15 days

Just had a quick glance and i think i have the correct site In Beaumont ...

you need to be looking closer at on page issues, any site is capable of ranking locally with just good onsite SEO with minimal links, and looking at your competition you should be there but your not

Just looking at the canonical elements of the site i can see you can be found for both www. and non www along with /index.php that alone is duplicate content in Googles eyes and needs to be addressed (have a read up on htaccess which will address that one easily for you

Site is extremely slow needs to be addressed as mentioned previously

Titles are very spammy and all mention beumont, each page should be unique you don't need beumont on every single title

you have multiple h1 titles,


you have internal links pointing to www. and also non www (just search your code and you will see <link href="hxxp://cravewin.com/?view=featured" rel="canonical" /> and also <base href="hxxp://www.cravewin.com/" /> that's should be addressed, you need to make your mind up are you going with the www. or without and make it uniform in the coding of the site

as mentioned by one of the posters above your on page could be better, you need some more text in my opinion some above the main image.

fix the main things and it will help immensely

Footer links are dangerous especially as some of your examples are heavy keywords pointing back at you and if hosting on your own server could be mistaken as a network, look in your webmaster tools under search traffic and see if you have any manual actions imposed by google

Good luck fix those (easy fixes) and you should see an improvement

I think so, offer by SkyRocketSEO is not bad, you need good rankings for getting business, and he is an experienced guy he will put you on top for your favorite keywords.

I fixed the H1 tags best I could. Man I can't believe i missed those mistakes (working on www/non www). It's a template site and I was new to the whole thing. Had to find some php files and edit some code in there. Also I'm working on the site speed as we speak. I've reduced the website size in half already - but there's also some JS that is keeping the site bogged down that I'm working on today.

I know that my on site SEO for the home page has been poor - but you would think that my inner pages would at least rank "somewhere", right?

PM me your skype ID. I have references. One reason is your NAP is clouded. Organic SEO's don't know squat about local, but they can get your site demoted real fast.

Speed up the site quickly with smush.it plugin for your image compression, then google how to leverage browser cache in htaccess for Wordpress. Probably one hour of work or less, and it will be a big improvement in speed
