I'm having trouble contacting this fellow. Anyone having any luck with this JV? It seems 2006xr650l may have been scammed.

Alright, I think I am going to take my auctions down. Guy just ignored me and signed off on google talk and hasn't responded via email in two days. Don't want to jeopardize a very aged ebay account. Lesson learned.

Its a common scam. You list the item and its bought with a stolen cc. yes you can pay with cc through paypal, any idiot knows that and i deal with ebay all the time.

You ship the funds and are left with a nice cut until pp tell you card was stolen and you have you pay money back. the op is then invisible!
Surprised people here fell for it. There are other ways to make money guys ;)

Thanks for the information. Well, there are 2 hours left on the auction and I have cancelled all bids. Fucking ebay will not let me close the auction because there is less than 12 hours left. Anyone have any ideas? I guess I can just keep cancelling the bids, hopefully this doesn't ruin the 100% feedback I have established.

Well in this case the OP became invisible after the auction ended, however, no funds were ever delivered to him and nothing was shipped out by him either. The premise of this was that he had items to sell from another source, you would list the auctions and once sold supply him with the buyers shipping info. Once the items were successfully shipped and delivered the funds would be transferred to him, minus your cut. Certainly all the buyers could have been part of the scam, and quite frankly he might have trying to set it up this way, but this is not what happened as the buyers immediately started screaming when they did not get their product delivered to them, as with what any eBay buyer would do. So refunds had to be processed, and now the person listing the items is left with some nice eBay fees to pay.

Hopefully others who jv'd with this scumbag didn't get screwed any worse than this.
