Anderson Silva ends fight with broken leg!!!!!

I was just about to post about this man! I was watching all the prelimilary fights for this.. here is the youtube video..

/watch?v=egETZVMnFsE

father time caught up with him.

Roy Jones Jr was going to retire him anyways so....

Nah. Yea he is old but not old enough for it to substantially weaken his bones.

1. Dude blocked the kick with his knee

2. Silva kicks very very hard, and years of that probably created a weak point, a weak point that is probably still stronger than any of our legs, just such a substantial amount of force behind his kick at the right point to cause that to happen.

3. He lost his last fight, probably pretty upset, was over training for the rematch, creating stress fractures in his leg, and didnt allow proper recovery time

All this aside, he was getting his ass kicked in the first round. I think Weidman deserved the win, its time for Silva to retire, he had an epic run and this is a proper way to go out. its not like he got his ass handed to him, his losses are because he beat himself, which is pretty fitting for a champion of his caliber.

Even though spider lose on this fight because of injury. i still admire him and he is still my idol in UFC, and if his leg didnt broke, he will win the fight obviously, but we dont know what will happen and maybe this will be the time for him to retire and take a rest..Silva is still the greatest UFC fighter of the world

did you even watch the fight? he barely escaped the first round, he would not "won the fight obviously" Weidman earned the title this fight, dont be delusional

Damn that sucked. Feel sorry for Silva
But he was going to get knocked out anyways. Never looked in it

It was a combination of Father time and wear and tear and just a great D from weildman.

Silvia got rocked when he never really gets rocked, he was out and came too and kept weildman off to survive the first round then he does kicked really hard and he kicked weildman or should we say aimed at his shin but weildman blocked it with his knee and that just snapped silvia own legs.

UFC is showbiz. It's a spectacle which has some sports involved in it, namely martial arts... But it's definitely not a legitimate sport.

MMA is a sport, UFC is showbiz. They're two different things.

It's not good for showbiz when one guy wins every fight. They had to take down Mike Tyson for the same reason.

Match fixing is not very difficult. Only ONE guy must know: the guy who'll get defeated. The other guy thinks he's fighting a real fight. The first match was very suspicious....Silva basically said "punch my fucking chin and get this over with". Weldman thought wow this is wonderful, cuz he was probably not in on the plan. Silva gets $$$$$$ and has a chance to rematch in December. Rematch goes awry, Silva retires rich but defeated....

Now Weldman is the new top guy. He'll win a couple matches, then when he's rich, the UFC owners will monitor him...if he starts winning too much, they'll approach him and it'll be his turn to agree to lose in exchange for $$$$. He won't say no....none of them do.

And the stupid masses pay top $$$ for this....since the middle ages....

Too much conspiracy man, Its just good match making. If the match makers want to make you a star then they build up and hype alot of fighters that the A side fighter can beat and just feed the A side all those hyped up bums but when his time is up and they see a new star they stop baby sitting the A side and put him in with real challengers and let the inevitable takes it course.

They dont pay fighters to take falls, lol why should they when it just easier to match him tough.

Take for instance floyd mayweather is he really this great fighter NO but they keep building up these bums(guerrero, canelo, ortiz, now khan or maidana) to feed to him to make him look great and keep winning cause he makes money, theirs a reason he wouldent face canelo at the full weight 154, or why he wont fight any other legit 154 fighter cause they know he will lose. Reason why he will never fight pacquaio either//

^^ totally agree even though I feel floyd would probably actually beat pacquaio if they fought today (as much as it pains me to say).

lol he's been saying "punch my fucking chin" since his pride and cage rage days... When he pulls it off he's an invincible god of fighting but when he finally gets caught it's a fix... that's truly delusional.

He's nearly 40 years old man. Did you really expect him to just keep winning forever?

How exactly they're fixing the matches isn't really the point. Your theory is perfectly valid, that may just be how they're doing it, but the main idea in my post is there's a way to do it, they can be fixing the matches in any number of ways. I know for sure breaking his leg was not planned though....it was very bad luck but it was bad luck brought by his defeat in the first match, which in turn was too suspicious to be taken seriously.

Tough to watch, reminds me of when Kevin Ware broke his leg playing basketball.
