I've heard lots of people saying High PR EDU Links are really important etc.

What are they are why are they important for my money site's SEO?

The teory behind that is that google treat edu links like something better just because edu domains are only available to teaching institutions but I personalty don't believe that very much. There are sits like any other and they "power" are more from links they have not just edu extension. But thats only my opinion.

edu backlinks mean backlinks from edu domain => .edu / .edu.xx and high page rank means they have pr.
these domains belong to educational institutions and make it trusted for google.

.edu backlinks means high authority !! .edu and .gov domains are most trusted domains so a decent backlink for .edu and .gov site will bring high authority to your site

Go look up ".edu footprints". Most people use these in Scrapebox. If you don't have Scrapebox, you can try using dropmylink. Just search for that on Google. Just don't do this too many times without using proxies, Google will ban your IP address. Make sure the edu links that you make are an asset to the site or your comment won't get approved. It must be relevant to your backlink that you're trying to make.

Yeah ! with scrapebox you can harvest your own list of .edu and .gov links ! But people are spamming these kind of domains to death when it comes to free.
