Need your opinion on YouTube monetization

Hi,

I have a youtube account with 90+ videos of a tv show. I upload new videos daily. Ofcourse I can't monetize my channel by youtube partnership because I do not own the content. So what would be the best way to monetize it instead of youtube partnership? Would it be possible to put a not so "spammy" ad somewhere in the description of the videos? I say so because I actually enjoy putting up these videos + the viewers express their gratittude for them, so I wouldn't like to piss them off by spam too much or even get my channel closed... So are there any thoughts? Your opinions will be appreciated, guys.

Since they appreciate you, let them show it (no spam/force, coming off as human and friendly works best) by placing an Ad or Link to a relevant site of yours. Perhaps with Adsense enabled there or affiliate/commission products related to the show etc. I've seen this work because they enjoy what you do, and letting them know you'd enjoy something in return doesn't bother them.

This comes from experience with YT being my main source of income.

Put together something people who view your channel want to download. Create a landing page with an email optin to get whatever that is. Build a mailing list and monetise the shit out of it.

What would you think would work the best for the fans of a show. Maybe wallpapers of the show or something like that?

I currently have ~150 videos, ~500k views. Thinking to get to 300 videos and then to start building the list. Is that a good strategy or would you advice to do it differently?

Why wait? I would start building the list asap.

Upload to some ppd thing a downloadable version of the videos? maybe slice em up into even smaller chunks to get more downloads?

But why would people want to download the videos when they can watch them on youtube?
