Hi everyone,I don't know what is wrong with my website but I am not doing great with the site. The site has PR3 and DA 30. it is getting at max 200 views daily for the past 3 months. Nothing up or down. I even posted few more times to increase traffic but it didn't make much impact. Can someone please see what is wrong with it? I mean, there are sites with less DA and PR that are doing quite well. A friend of mine recently started a website, he also did a similar post and he is getting 200 views daily on his new site(hardly a month old and have PR0 and DA 6)

I know DA and PR has nothing to do with views but it still does count in Google ranking

There's a lot of optimization you can do.

For example: Add 1 or 2 keywords to your website's title.
Some people might say that doesn't work anymore, but I've seen it work as recently as last week

I would run your page through one of those on-page SEO checks.
They are all over google if you do a search.

Also, I know you put spaces in your URL, but this forum is visited by dumb search engine employees that can't wait to drop your site in rankings.

Just a heads up.

PR and DA has nothing to do with the number of views. Do some keyword research and plan what keywords you want to bring you the traffic. Then just
Content+Backlinking=Position+Views

I am not entirely sure, but it seems as if you are somehow relating PR and DA to the amount of traffic a website receives.

It does not matter if your site is pr0 or pr 5, if you are not trying to pull traffic from any source other than your own articles, it will not likely generate it on its own.

The same way as money doesn't grow from trees, traffic doesn't grow from websites, go and gather it via social media/seo/directmkt.

Personally you got some good numbers (PR DA) so my advice would be to get started with SEO asap, it will go a lot faster than a site with 0 traffic and 0 stats.

Best of luck

Thanks for the suggestion. I will remove the site.

I did keyword searching many times. For example recently, there was a keyword which was very rich. I wrote a post on it and my friend started SEO. A month later, that post is still not even in 100 results of Google and I don't know why. The same technique he uses for his other site gets his post rank in between 30-50 search results and that's what made both of us mad and desparete to find out the reason for this particular site.

Thanks but we are already doing SEO , both on page and off page. I don't know what else I can do. Is it possible that I hire a person/company that solely does white hat seo? I am not comfortable with black hat.

What kind of content do you use? Concentrate more on quality and fresh content, share it via social media. Try to analyze your competitors and their backlinks. And watch what else you can do. Guest posting really works for my site. What is your niche?
Watch your on-page seo. It is vital too.

Can you send me the link of your site, so I can tell you what's wrong with your site.

Thanks

In respect of Content, make sure that it is original not copied one. If you use spitax software, proof read the content after spinning and make it readable.

As far as SEO techniques are concerned, I dont know what your freind is doing. Tiered link building works better.

I would recomemnend to focus on your main URL more than URLs of individual posts. You can obtain expert content creation and SEO services at reasonable prices at SEOClerks.

Thanks for your valuable post but that't a load of crap.

SEOClerks - Crap
Tiered Link building - Crap
Spintax Software - Why would he use crappy articles on his site?

Niche of my site is Technology. I write articles myself as I am a writer myself. Been writing for many websites. I always concentrate on quality since I love to write about technology and that's why i made a tech niche blog in the first place. Did guest posting few times but it didn't do any good. Although I will look into on page seo

PMed you the site name

There seem to be two aspects here:

1. Content
2. SEO technique / method

I have had good experience with them.

I don't use any spun content or copied content on my site. Everything written is original in every way since I am the writer of my website. And using Tiered Link Building,SEOClerks, I have no idea about them since both of you have difference of opinion so for now, I cannot go for it.

Thanks for your reply.
As your site is developed in WordPress and you must check robots.txt file in root directory or create one that will help. Otherwise use google analytics that will tell you exactly what's going inside.

Thanks

what to check specifically in robots.txt? And I have google analytics but it only shows the audience etc. Nothing about what is going wrong or what I am missing etc

It's impossible for anyone to give any meaningful feedback unless you out your own site.

I would look again at how you're doing SEO, and be honest with yourself about the content and user experience that your site delivers.

If your content looks anything like your posts here, you're in trouble lol.

I am agree with Andrew. We can't assume without your website URL.

Do one thing just write as per the latest trends and share it on few social networking sites. It will definitely help you increase views for your blog.

PMed both of you

Well, what i feel is - you have to pick those topics which are very latest and in search. So, by producing such kind of quality and latest posts ( specially because your niche is tech ) and if you will share it on social platforms - I don't think you will not get any increment in number of visitors in short time.

Hope that helps.

I want to have a look if you want ! Let's see whats cracking :/

I am actually writing on keywords that me and my friend mutually agrees on mostly. I think I have to change my strategy of not focusing on keywords. My site started in July and September, I posted an article on 1 keyword and suddenly i started getting 1000-1500 traffic daily through that keyword. I thought this is it, this is the break that I wanted for my site. It remained like that for a month and then suddenly Google penguine update hits and my site views goes below to 100. After that, again panda update and my site was -99% affected.
There was this website who shows how much each algo affected your site and it was -99%. After that, me and my friend worked hard to get the site up but it didn't happen. Then comes the humming bird in November and my site affectedness goes straight to +98%. But the views only remained at 200/per day. Its been 2 months and I am still in the 150-200 bracket and I don't know why.

I would recommend posting more content daily including more keywords you want to be ranked for. The more keywords your website is visible for in the search engines the more visitors you will generate daily.

As you said your friend is doing same thing which you're doing or you did but his website is getting more traffic than you. So I guess it's because you both have different niches that's cause his website getting ranked easily due to low competition.

And if you both have same niches then you must have to take a deep look at your's friends search queries Yes, if he allows you to access to his website GWT and GA then See which unique queries brings traffic from him and then work on it. write content or do onsite seo for it.

Juat interact with social media, and you will see an increase of your traffic.

Beside this you said even yourself: I know DA and PR has nothing to do with views but it still does count in Google ranking
So this have nothing to do with the traffic.

Another advice for you is to find a friend on the same niche of yours and ask him for a review about your articles, maybe they are not attractive to readers and you have to work out your writing skills
