Well... I guess that depends on what you are offering to download for starters... and than on how much time you can invest in different techniques... but if you think creative there should be many alternative ways to make a dime out of PPD next to youtube

I am currently trying social media + PPD. The standard - game hack - I've opened a Facebook page, twitter profile and tumblr blog and I use social exchange sites to get traffic. All my social media profiles are pointing to my blogger blog. So I haven't spend a dime, only time.

youtube is best source of traffic and easy for traffic that's why all using that. You can always use reddit, facebook, twitter etc for quick traffic.

Not really. I was working hard for two weeks and got 23 $ from 8 downloads. However I think that those downloads were pure luck nothing to do with my work. One of the downloads was 19$. Two days ago I've started again and so far no downloads. Besides social media I use related websites where I post comments that include a link to my blog. For example if the game hack we are talking about is GTA V, Google search - "GTA V comment" and you will get lots of websites where you can post a comment and most of them allow placing a link to your blog in the comment. The comment should be relevant/innocent
- "Hey great article. I really like GTA V I'm currently stuck on...I've heard that this blog has some working hacks and I will try them today"
