Am I doing something wrong in pinterest?

So I create a pinterest account. I made 134 pins, I even took the time to repin, like and even follow users. and I have absolutely no followers.

What's with this shitty social network?

I have managed to build a decent follower base on every social network within the first 100 posts.

I even managed to get reddit boards with up to 16 subscribers. However pitnerest is jack squat.

Seriously wtf?
I know it's mainly females on the website, I reblogged stuff on the front page. Random images of food, animals, nature etc and get no results.

Am I possibly hell banned? Is that even a thing on pinterest?

All required is your seo strategy, your url, your keywords, your caption that must be eye catching. To get more followers, you should be doing optimizing your pins on other social sites too.

I think it's their shitty search algorithm. I'm betting when you search something it shows the most popular stuff. Which would honestly be ridiculous if true because then the new guys cannot get into the pages.

It should be newst first. That's the way tumblr does it and I get great results. Same with Twitter, I get good resutls with Twitter. But pinterest, no.

for quite a few it is cold mine, they are making fortune of it

3 words. Pin Pin Pin.You get the pins out there you increase your odds of a pin going viral..Then the followers and traffic comes..When you get up to 3000 pins, you will start seeing your account get more active.

I managed to get some followers at around 200 pins.


I guess the key with pinterest is to just spam the shit out of it. Pin hundreds and hundreds of pins.
