Hi guys just joined up today hoping to get some good advice and ideas from some of you. I have recently acquired a site that sells social media services which makes a few $ but would like advice about the best ways of marketing away from search engines. I've got some traffic starting to come in from a video on youtube thats starting to rank and was thinking of doing this for each service but was after some other ideas I can work on daily. I've always worked with sites solely by using search engines for traffic so this is a new area for me. I've tried things like yahoo answers but accounts get suspended very quickly is it worth getting something like netshade/HMA? Is Yahoo answers/ facebook commenting (had similar account issues) really any good at getting good traffic? if so best ways of doing it? Anyone ever had any success with any kind of targeted traffic? I'm on a tight budget at the moment so need to do things myself and would be really grateful for any suggestions, help, and ideas that people could throw my way. Cheers.
