No Google has been updated since it began, difference now is all the newbies have caught on, and they start spreading the word of Google, just as Google wants. There are plenty of ways to stay safe and make sure you have a steady flow of IM money coming in, Google or no Google.

There has been too much hysteria on this forum over the last few days.
There is no patch or algo change that will stop people making money.
People will adapt, whether that is by changing their BH technique or their business model.
The only people that will be affected in the long term are those that don't treat their business seriously and are only looking for the easy routes.

Nothing new, people have to learn where to use those links, never use them on you moneysite, just in churn and burn sites.
Moneysite-safe links (although nowadays there is nothing safe, G can slap you and will slap you even if you dont do any bad links)
Churn and burn, the rest of the links, sape, wikis, forums, blogs, shit networks, profiles, etc etc.
Just take that aproach.

It's just competition, it keeps you on your toes, prevents some of us from getting to lazy.
We all know things will change regardless of what we are doing, keep informed, try to keep ahead of the curve so when it happens your prepared. Methods are discussed on other sites as well, BHW being a colossal giant just makes it a bit easier.. Besides if you look at matts profile, he's in the lounge reading the "Losing virginity to a prostitute" thread anyways..

I'm new here, but Google even takes down "white hat" (if there even is such thing as white hat) sites from what I've read, so its really just studying up on what's changing and adapting imo.

Google lost the battle as soon as they started hiring manual reviewers. Right then they knew their algorithms were shit.
Now they're profiling and spying on everyone, reading gmail, etc, in order to find SEO techniques. It's pretty desperate indeed.

I am waiting for the day when you type something in google and it returns the "stolen" data from other sites without any accreditation and any site results. You will have to pay in order to get a sponsored place in that result. It has already started happening and I fear it will get worse..
Just my thoughts. Don't get paranoid. Instead, look for alternative ways to bring in traffic. Internet existed before google was born. Remember?
