BitCoin and Cryptocurrencies - Will they fail? My 3 Predictions!

Greed is the reason you 're not living in the caves hunting dinosaurs.

We are not living in thee caves because many things. Ambition, Inspiration, Discipline. And the other fact is greed is the reason why we still living in this crowed planet, but not moon, maybe mars.

Saying greed will ruin Bitcoin is like saying greed will ruin the dollar. Plus, take advantage of the trading opportunities. If you time your trades right you can make some good BTC profits.

I think you have totally no idea about value. Gold has value and price not because it looks good, or people thought it, or people have good will about it. Look through the history, how many awesome concepts appeared, and how many survived?

Plus I see many people say such things like if you can blablabla, then you can blablabla... Seriously, you say this just say nothing. Everyone know this even a kid, you know and you can are just such different things. If you thought like this, I highly suggest you to forget any coins and go to the gambling. You know, you just need to get black jack (or better than banker) then you can make more and more quickly than any coins.

I think this is some panic selling and people cashing out for cristhmas presents and all that stuff. At least, I hope so.

I think you are confusing greed with reason and intellect.

Reason and intellect do not produce without goals. And the most powerful goal setting instrument by far is greed.

We are not living in thee caves because many things. Ambition, Inspiration, Discipline. And the other fact is greed is the reason why we still living in this crowed planet, but not moon, maybe mars.

All you have to do then is get together with all the rest of the non-greedy people, use your uber powers to magically produce everything and go live on the stars :)

Besides greed, I can also list two major facts which will ruin this concept, and these two facts are also people who thought the reason why bitcoin is a revolution.

1, The use of bitcoin. People who valued bitcoin ( I mean people who truly valued not just people who treat it like a prostitute_greed). These people they thought bitcoin is a revolution nothing less like it will change our life, protect our privacy, our democracy, blablabla ...Ok, let's assume all these are true. All these are true only if this concept is major for USE, am I right? Now tell me, when bitcoin at the price of $1000 (and of course in some people they trust it will go $10000), why most people buy it? Just spend $1000 and for what? go to supermarket and buy some wine so FBI can not tracing you?

Someone maybe jump out and say why not talk about gold? Yeah, good point, but do you know how long the history of the USE of gold and silver? And even after we invent the paper currencies, the gold still the big buddy behind them because its long history of using made it reputation and value. What the guaranty of these coins?

As I said people who value this concept they don't have many coins (which made it lack of USE), and people who have many coins they don't value this concept but only profit which made it lack of guaranty)

2. Freedom. Yeah, I thought if I say this, many people will jump out and beat me to death. Because, apparently, they will think that I am a unti-freedom-man. But I will still say this just because I care about your wallet (Yeah, maybe I am so fcking boring). Most people will very dislike and reject a word "controlled", of course me too. But most of them also forgot the dark face of freedom. Yeah, even gold shining word "freedom" has dark face. Without control, bitcoin might give people the freedom of currency and home finance. But also without control, when many people spend their saving( after "other many people" shouted about the new concept with so many benefits) to buy many coins, and wake up the second day and suddenly find your saving lost 50% (Yeah, as I said, if "other many people" they valued this new concept, this will not happen. But sadly, most "other many people" they buy coins not for this purpose.), what they will do? I don;t know, but one thing I can sure you, they will never shout out "Freedom" in their garden (assume they still have garden) like William Wallace.

After all, I just want to say. Yes, Yes, Yes...... You guys said many things right, it is just you thought this is "The coin", but truth is it is just "a coin".

@hzwill

Gold is a convenient mean of exchange, that has 1 problem - its heavy. Bitcoin solves that problem, and doesnt introduce new ones. Doesn't it make Bicoin superior to gold?

Reason and intellect do not produce without goals. And the most powerful goal setting instrument by far is greed.

So you're saying I'm greedy because I want to be rich? If I'm greedy then I'm selfish but am I really selfish? Does the pull towards an easy and relaxed life make one selfish?

All you have to do then is get together with all the rest of the non-greedy people, use your uber powers to magically produce everything and go live on the stars :)

I heard many people get annoyance of too much money, and I can easily deal with their trouble. But until now, no one really give me their "annoyance money".

How much water can barrel hold depends on its shortest piece of plate, not the longest one.

All I want to trying to say is you misunderstand about greed and ambition.

You'll have to elaborate on that one. I didnt understand a thing. Especially, how it answers my question.

I said bit coin, of course, has its advantage. Everything has advantages and disadvantages. But how can you say something is better than others just based on one point?

And BTW, if you are talking about convenient, I think credit card is super.

Credit Card is super convenient, like everything that has been around for more than century. Plus credit card is a 2rd generation product. E.q. no fiat currencies, no credit cards. And fiat... they solve the weight problem as well. Too sad, they can be printed.

Just look what happens in Ukraine. They have sort of a revolution going on atm. The government tries to silence the protesters. How they do that? They print money, and give it to pensioners and people who are ready to participate in anti-protests. Someone made a photo of that money, they didnt even shuffle it. Fresh paper with consequent serial numbers.

It can happen in any country, and I personally trust Bitcoin more than any fiat currency, for the same reason people keep bashing it - its "regulated" by the free market and not some government.

Greed means to have a strong desire for something. That 's not a bad thing at all. Selfish means to want things for yourself. That 's not a bad thing at all either.

Does the pull towards an easy and relaxed life make one selfish?

Yes! That 's the idea :) See now why greed and selfishness are good things? It 's no wonder they 've been painted so negatively. ;)

You are both selfish and not selfish at the same time - and both are great things to be. You can make an effort to live comfortably and you can give from your own to help others at the same day!

All I want to trying to say is you misunderstand about greed and ambition.

Not at all :) Ambition is simply greed for power, fame and generally the greed to reach a goal. Just because you use another word, doesn't change its essence.

You still don't get the point like many other people here, yes, as I said, you are right but. Many people thought people and government are in the opposite sides. Yes, it is true. But what you are wrong is that you guys thought people just in one "word", the truth is "they" are not. Most people put many wish and prospect on these virtual currency based on one very important fact, people are all same side and with discipline, self-control. Ok, maybe I elaborate again.

Let's make this straight. What you are saying is not wrong, remember this. But what I am trying to say is another point. Like I said people who value this concept (all advantage you said) they don't have many coins which made it lack of USE, and people who have many coins they don't care these which made it lack of guarante.

What you are talking about are those advantages of VC, but it is real world like I said. New concept can't make it just with these. When you say you don't trust government or you'd rather trust these machine more than government (many people thought these too), you just base on most people thought in this way. But the truth is , they are not. Think about twice, people who buy BTC at price of $1000, do you really think they care those advantage what you said? Hell no, it is just a prostitute for them.

Like I said, Yes,Yes,Yes, what you guys said, most are right. You just thought it is "The coin", but truth is it is just "a coin".

No. Do you know what is the biggest different between these? greed never know when to stop, and this will drive people fall into the cliff soon or later.
