MADSTACKS - Journey To SEO Success

Welcome

I have successfully built a decent income with the wholesale/dropshipping business strategy
and normally focus my efforts on promoting my tangible items with various outlets like eBay.

Now it is time to put on my gloves and jump into the SEO industry. I am no expert when it comes
to SEO and in fact I am not competent at all. My goal is to learn all the basics to SEO and get hands
on experience in this field which I think is critical no matter what you are trying to promote.

My Goal
Learn all SEO industry phonics.

Promote products and ecommerce successfully

Investment Capital

Targeted Goal
Knowledge
(not worried about banking just yet )

My Plan So Far

I have created a blogspot blog and I am going to write high quality English articles
with low to medium competition keywords. Then I will see how well I naturally rank.
Later on I will make link building a part of my portfolio.

Tools I will Use
My hands, Brain and eventually Serpbook

I will do my best to update daily with statistics and what I am doing.

What I have down thus far?

Day 2
I signed up to Blogger and wrote one article which contains 500 words and 5 unique
low competition keywords. Note that the keywords have a low search volume of about
3000 searches per month.

I am practicing writing Articles with 3% keyword density which seems to be easier
said than done because I am ending up with .5% keyword density and I do not see
how to possibly raise it just yet without making the article choppy.

I am using Microsoft Office for typing out my articles.
And I am using the following website to check my keyword density

Wish me luck guys and any advice, criticism or opinion that is constructive is greatly appreciated.
You may ask why I chose blogger?
Simple! Its free and a good way to start.

I also just manually submitted my URL for Google to crawl it.

51 Page views so far! But I imagine it is all robots crawling the site from directories.

also look into GSA, SB as they are very useful tools for link building.

Hey Condadon, Thanks for your support. Yup! Eventually I will probably need some link building
tools for sure. But the way I feel now is that I need to know what I am doing before I start buying
tools and automating it. LOL I do not want to automate a disaster

Good luck! Remember that a large part of SEO is content. Pushing links to a site with nothing to rank would be bad.

Day 3
Well I am back guys with my third update on my blogger blog and SEO Journey.
So far I have added my second 500 word article with 5 keywords that are the same
as before and the keyword density now is averaging 2%

Much better than the pitiful .5% keyword density I was facing before with my last
article. So I am getting a feel for writing articles and naturally knowing how to write
in my keywords for the right density without editing to much.

I noticed that every time I add a new article my views increase by 50+ very
quickly. 98% of my traffic is coming from the United States but strangely enough
the rest of my traffic is coming from S. Korea.

All is well and I will update you guys again soon!

Guys! I wanted to let you all know I am going to be working on this project for most of the day
and should have a larger update rolling out tonight EST.

So far my traffic per day when I am uploading articles daily is around 50+ unique visitors.

Are you targeting 5 different keywords for each article and each keyword has 2% keyword density or is 2% the average of all the keywords? I don't have any experience in SEO either but I think I read that it's better to target one keyword/keyword phrase per article.
