At this rate I'm gaining around 10-15 followers an hour. Not much you say, but thats more like 240-300 followers A DAY -- certainly nothing to sneeze at!

We do not limit the number of people who can follow you, but we have put limits in place to stop people from aggressively following others. Everyone is allowed to follow 2000 people. After that, follow limits are based on the number of people who are following you. Follow limits cannot be lifted by Twitter, and everyone is subject to follow limits, even high profile and API accounts

Twitter smells I reached my 2k limit in a few days. Stupid limit.

Unfollow the ones that aren't following you back, and keep doing that until your follower count is > 2000. Then the limit goes away and the sky is the limit.

Since I'm tired of answering PMs, here's how I do it: I use http://flashtweet.com/, its FREE, so it saves you money Simply enter your twitter account details. Then select someone whose followers you want to get to follow you, for example if you're in internet marketing then you could choose a guru like Mike Filsaime. Then mass follow his or her followers, no more than 100 per hour or you're going to get a follow-freeze from twitter. After a few days if they haven't followed you back, mass un-follow those that don't follow you, to make space. Eventually (after a week or so) you'll break through the 2000 ceiling.

just one question :after I have got 2K followers, how many people I can follow? or what ratio I need to mantain?

After you have >2000 followers I think the follow-freeze still applies. So you're still ratio-limited on how fast you can add people you follow.

Just make more accounts after the 2k mark and just keep updating them all.

after you hit 2000 you will need to get 1820 followers to follow 2001... there is a 10% ratio after that.

if you have 3000 followers you can follow 3300

if you have 10000 followers you can follow 11000

and so on.

Honestly I don't do it that way but if thats how you choose so be it.

Better method would be to go to http://www.twellow.com/ or http://justtweetit.com and choose your specific niche of people that you want to follow. Much better since your not just following peoples followers but people that are actually in the field of people you actually wanna follow.

Just followed you, you have more following than followers, manual followers might see you just aiming for lots of followers, keep the distance close.

Use tweetlater for auto follow on people that following you, if they find out you're not following back they might unfollow you in instance.
