Hi guys,
I have a website that has been penalized by google because of some bad backlinks that I build. For the past few months I spent my time removing those links and also made lots of reconsiderations requests in my google webmaster tools account. In the end I received an e-mail from google saying "Previously the webspam team had taken action on your site because we believed it violated our quality guidelines. After reviewing your reconsideration request, we have revoked this action." but my ranks didn't came back so I'm done with this. ( I still have good traffic on my website, but not like I had before )
My last chance is to move my domain to another domain hoping to get back in the game.
I see that many of you use a brand new domain to make a 301 redirect from the old domain, but I was thinking to move on an old domain.
I have 2 domains from 2008 and 2011 untouch with blackhat methods, or linkbuilding. That 2 domains are active websites with content with very small amount of traffic ( 50-100UV/day) from the same niche as the domain that I want to redirect and similar keywords that I want to rank back with my panalized domain. That 2 domains are on the first page on some keywords with no backlinks.
I want to redirect my domain on one of those 2 domains, meaning to delete the existing website and upload the penalized one.
What should I do? Go for a brand new domain or it's ok to use an old one?
I also want to mention that the 2 old domains have links indexed in google and if I move the domain there I must remove those and put the penalized domain in that place. I hope that isn't a problem.
I really like to hear your opinion about this.
Thanks for reading!
