On my second month with two VPS's from hostamus.com and have to say this is by far the best VPS service available for the price. Always up and always blazing fast!!!

I have a lot of servers with Hostamus. I stick with them because of the support from Damien, I ordered another this this morning and it was set up and I was logged into the server in under 60 minutes.
There has literally been about 20 minutes of downtime in over a year. That downtime was to move to a new SSD as one was failing. you can't beat the support, speed and stability. I don't know how much other servers cost, but I would gladly pay a premium for Hostamus.

What kind of system you have there... Tried to order a vps, entered my phone number but I can't receive sms... Even stranger part is that I was automatically detected as being "Fraud".
Edit: tried to buy with another phone, but still can't receive sms.
Would love to buy a VPS finally, but that system, it's killing me.

Yes, however you can only have a maximum of 1 IP with shared hosting at the moment. VPS can have up to 8 different c-class IPs

So i decided to go for a VPS from Hostamus, i did some research beforehand - the results speaks for themselfes!
I looked up the CPU's benchmarks bcuzz the very friendly admin Damien told me the "ins and outs" of the VPS and it's state of the art power and performance. WOW
Where ever i looked and compared i saw cheaper prices for more resources, well obviously it is not like that in the true world. Cpu throttling, over establishment and general cheating going on with the resources promised. Personally i would like to "sl**ther" the throttlers 4-ever, makes me sick feel.
Hostamus specs and reputation and insane performance made the choiche for me really easy!
I signed up for the 60 dollar per month deal with Dual core and 4 Gb ram, unmetered etc etc. I got 30 procent off so it landed on 42 dollars for first month. Maybe a bit overkill for myself but why not!! lol
Service was up within 15 minutes of payment! Sweet!! no waiting around playing "hide and seek" straight on the ball. 5 stars!
I can already feel the power, first login was awesome and easy using that "remote" free program for Apple called CoRD, "wow, straight into the vps with sharescreen, fast loading and everything, sick fluidity throught out.
I loaded up GSA ser and got some proxies and fired off, wow i reached my DEMO limit of 300 in no time, everything was running so much faster compared to my home pc, just blown away.
I have tested Linux server VPS before and gosh!! what is that all about? Ok it is installed but now Where is it??
Some seriously complicated WHM controll panels and lots of extra subscriptions with substansial monthly fees to pay, for sure Linux would be great for some one with the know how from the command line solo, windows for the first time rocks!!

I am fairly new to the VPS world but wanted to give it a shot/try!
Now my question is: There is windows running right? So i can run any tool i want on it, correct? Also, there is some kind of a remote desktop control coz otherwise i wouldnt be able to run it? Did I understand correctly?
If so, i'd be interested to rent one of the VPS

Hello,
Yes it is Windows 2008 R2 running on the virtual machines. You connect through Remote Desktop and install programs just like you would on your own home PC.
