International programming eduction

Hello BHW, i think this forum can help me out, with a few of my questions.

I'm a 16 year old student from Denmark, there are studying to web integrator, in Denmark. My plans when i'm done with that is to study a similar eduction where you learn to program, but out in the world. I wan't to travel, so all countries suggestions are welcome. Currently i got Malta, Spain, Sweden, Germany, UK, And USA on my list on places i'm thinking about to study in.

I also need names on the international eductions where you learn about programming, and such. Can you guys help me out here?

It depends... Do your parents have money?

Seriously, it's a big factor. Your best bet is to come to the US and study computer science here. Don't worry about getting into Harvard or MIT, but get into a decent school; they'll accept you, being from Denmark, as they want to promote and international culture and diversity. If your parents can afford sending you to the US, this is the way to go. This will also help you get a work visa and, if you'd like, stay long-term in the U.S.

A wild card is Bocconi's international computer science program (look it up). It's a wild card but a prestigious and distinguished university which will land you untold connections in Europe -- especially if you want to go into finance. If you can't go to the US, I'd go down this route.

Your second best bet is probably the UK or Germany.

In any case, be sure to study in English. Perfect English and many, many doors will open for you.



Oh, and by the way, always run businesses on the side as you study. Never forget this golden rule.
