Pros and Cons of Scrapebox Blasts?

I've recently learned what a scrapebox blast is and I was just wondering what you guys thought on the pros and cons of them.

Like I'm assuming the main purpose is to generate backlinks, but do they really help that much if you were a new domain? And would one expect to generate traffic from these as well too? And lastly, if someone were to do a scrapebox blast to a URL of like a review (for one of your affiliate programs through CJ), do you think that would cause issues?

Don't scrapebox blast for your money sites. Use Scrapebox only for your Tier1, Tier2 and Tier3 backlinks. It will give extra link juice and will be helpful to get your backlinks index fast.

Thanks for the replies guys! Yikes, I'm still pretty new and I don't even really understand that terminology haha! Does that just mean, like don't use it on my main site? And instead use it to build up a dummy site? Then on the dummy site I will have high PR and it will help my main site by linking eventually?

Scrapebox "blast" is a generic term and most people still think scrapebox can only do blog comments. They don't realize that it can do guestbooks, image platforms, trackbacks, a forum, BBS and more blog platforms then it used to be able to do. So there certainly are links that scrapebox can do in a "blast" that you can point at your money site.

Money site = home page/your website that makes money that your trying to rank.

Tier 1 is a site that you build links to and then that site links to your site, so "link juice" passes to your site, but its buffered thru a Tier site. The idea is to get the good from the links without any penalty, although penguin is all about digging deeper into the backlinks profile.

If your in it for long term ranks slow and stead is the way to go. If your after churn and burn you can hammer away on "blasts" with good results. For example here is a churn and burn method that I have talked with people that have done good with:

Don't get too caught up in blasts though, while they have their value, the real value of scrapebox is the links it can help you get that are not automated as well as the other ranking value/data that it can provide.

Is SB blasting really useful when it comes to ranking YT videos I have been looking for a way to get some traffic to my videos and if this really is true I will be giving it a go. It seems like there is very little about using SB to generate traffic yet I am sure it can be done. Even if not directly but indirectly as ranking YT vids would be

I think I will be giving this a go. You don't need to preach to the converted about high pr ******** I have long been a quality seo man not quantity. I guess we will have to do a little split testing one video with senuke SB etc and one only manual comments and submissions.

As for saying web 2.0 do you mean profile links? Or do you mean links from websites for example like Squidoo. Hubpages article sites (high pr do follow of course)? This is basically what my link building campaign was for my first ever site and I got a PR of 4 so I guess now I will have much more success being older wiser and all that.

I don't think so. Anyone can hammer links at a site, so then you could ban your competitors. Adense doesn't really care about links coming in so much as they do things like actually clicking on ads etc... Click fraud and such.
