It all depends, are you trying to buy instance type or just pay per processing time on tasks.i guess i ll have to code my own, i have a python script that lets me upload my status from desktop, how do i schedule it and make it run from a server any ideas?
i am having trouble with my facebook user access token expiring in 2 hours, i think this http://dev.datasift.com/docs/managed-sources/best-practices-token-management will make my user access token last 2 months,or do you have any ideas to make the tokens last for more time before expiring?
also i read a tutorial that can convert my python files to .exe can i upload that exe to my server and schedule cron jobs, i am using linux hosting arvixe,

If the latter then I recommend you take a look at IronWorkers from iron.io, i have several scripts there running right now. They are cool to hook up api calls and stuff, if its just simple http requests you want to do then you should go with them.
Else, you can try to just dig services for free developers account, that usually include the lowest free package.
For example, you can take advantage of iron.io's free tier as well as amazon's free tier .
I would have suggested you 2 years ago to go with Google App engine with their pay-per-usage old pricing, but now that they are on the instance price. I wouldn't even think about using them since they are way more expensive now.
Also, you need to have some sort of webhooks with endpoints hooking up to your tasks.
So , if you are coding with python look into coding celery with a redis,IronMQ, or rabbitMQ and schedule your own tasks.
Well, facebook has expiring tokens that will not last more than 2 months. That is their maximum expiration date.

However, you are able to get never-expire access tokens to manage facebook pages but thats about it.
What exactly are you trying to do with datasift?
Are you tapping into any of the firehoses(twitter and tumblr)?or are you just using datasift for facebook monitoring across different filters?
any facebook application that puts random statuses for you?
