Hey :)

I have an ecommerce, and each product is having a 400-500 words article. I was wondering how many inner links I should put.

My niche's products are strongly related with each other, so my question is how many inner links I should place in each product description. Right now, I can easily place ~10 links in each description (links pointing to other products of the same website), is that too much?

Note that each product is having 3 "related products" under the description. However, my question is strictly for the product descriptions, as this is the content of my website.

THANK YOU!

Seriously... nobody?

The more links a page has, the less internal link juice each of those links passes. 10 links is not much at all and will also help you with sales.

10 inner links in a ~500 words article (product description) is considered not much at all. Are you sure about that?

If you would spend some time reading around on this subject you will see that some recommend 1 link at every 50 words, 1 link at every 100 words ad so on. As many specialists as many opinions. As you may know there is no sure path to follow when it comes to SEO, it's all about testing to see what is working and what is not working. I'm doing SEO for a client who has an e-commerce site and he has between 20 to 30 or even more links on almost every product page. Wondering abour rankings? He's in top 3 for his desired keywords.

Ok, that was actually very helpful. You are completely right "as many specialist as many opinions", and this is also true for many many other SEO factors.
